Emma here, your favourite pink-obsessed ballerina, and today's blog post comes straight from the charming town of Cheadle Hulme. As the Derbyshire girl I am, I do love a good train journey, and let me tell you, this one was utterly delightful! 🚂
The countryside whizzed past in a flurry of green and sunshine, the gentle sway of the train carrying me away to ballet heaven! Yep, that's right, Cheadle Hulme boasts a pretty darn spectacular ballet school that is on my must-visit list.
But first, I couldn't resist a little photo op in the charming streets of this Cheshire town. Don't you just adore the quaint buildings? And that vintage shop – I must tell you about that later!
Anyways, on with the tutu-wearing shenanigans! 💃
The school, ahhh, what a dream! As I walked through the doors, I swear I could hear a chorus of angels singing "Dance, little ballerina, dance!" 😂 The walls were adorned with posters of graceful dancers and beautiful illustrations of swans, swans, everywhere! 🦢
You know I had to rock my red tutu for the occasion! After all, you can't walk into a ballet school dressed down, can you? My trusty tutu paired with a simple white top was just the right amount of sassy yet elegant. And, of course, a pink flower in my hair. 🌺 I am just a tiny bit obsessed with pink, as you all know!
The first class was a delight! My goodness, the passion radiating from each student was infectious. From graceful leaps to intricate footwork, they were just pure magic! ✨
Afterwards, I met with the school's owner, a woman who radiates all things dance and grace! It was like a ballet dream come true. She spoke so beautifully about her passion for ballet, how it brings joy, expression and discipline to everyone who dares to dance. 🥰
Listen, darlings, you might be thinking "Oh Emma, that's just you and your ballet obsession". But let me tell you, everyone should get involved with ballet. Not just for the stunning artistic expression, but because it empowers you to push your own limits and explore your inner ballerina. It doesn't matter if you've never touched a tutu before, it doesn't matter how old you are, or if you've never thought you were "graceful" enough! All it takes is a passion for dance, and a little pink tutu. 🎀

Of course, no trip to Cheadle Hulme would be complete without indulging in some local wildlife spotting! The wildlife around here is absolutely charming. We spotted a fox darting through the trees, and the squirrels were busy playing hide and seek in the branches. So cute! 🐿️
Now, about that vintage shop... Oh, darlings, I found the most amazing hat! Imagine a straw hat with a gigantic pink bow. It is pure vintage delight. And it perfectly complements my red tutu, wouldn't you agree? 👒
That's my darling, my day trip to Cheadle Hulme! I truly believe everyone should visit this wonderful town at least once in their lives. It's bursting with charm, history, and of course, a little touch of ballet magic. ✨
