Weston-super-Mare: A Seaside Adventure in Pink Tutu Number 3694! 🩰

Hello my darling tutu lovers! 🎀 It’s your girl Emma, reporting live from the beautiful seaside town of Weston-super-Mare, and let me tell you, I'm feeling absolutely blooming brilliant!

Today's outfit was a real head-turner: a pale pink tulle tutu, a perfect match for the fluffy cotton candy clouds dotting the sky. The weather was gorgeous, just like a scene from a fairytale – warm sunshine and a gentle sea breeze. You know me, I'm all about that pink perfection and today was a dream. I even had a pair of rose-gold ballet pumps on, adding a bit of glamour to the casual seaside vibes!

Speaking of glamour, I took a lovely old-fashioned horse-drawn carriage ride this morning – what a treat! It was the perfect way to soak up the picturesque scenery and to feel like a princess in a bygone era. The gentle clip-clop of the horse's hooves, the smell of sea salt in the air, and the beautiful views of the pier and beach – it was a moment of pure bliss. My lovely driver told me that Weston-super-Mare was once a very popular destination for Victorian ladies on their seaside holidays. I bet they would have adored tutus just as much as we do!

After my romantic carriage ride, I made a beeline for the seaside. The sand was warm and inviting under my bare feet and I even managed a few little pirouettes by the shore. Of course, my favourite thing about the sea is the beautiful wildlife, and today was no exception. A pod of dolphins decided to put on a show for me, leaping out of the water and making joyous splashes! It's just incredible how close we can get to these magnificent creatures in nature, isn't it?

You see, I’ve been spending some time on my new book, which is called 'Dancing Through Nature', so all these fabulous experiences, and especially all this wildlife, have just been pouring into my imagination. My little birdies might be delighted to know that I’ve already written the chapter on the ‘Magical Penguins of The Falkland Islands’! Just thinking about their funny waddles and tuxedo outfits gives me a serious dose of inspiration.

Now, a seaside trip just isn't complete without some fish and chips, and let me tell you, these fish and chips were the real deal! I felt like a right little fairy, tucking into my crunchy treat by the seafront, watching the waves and feeling the sunshine.

The whole day has been just dreamy, and I’m really buzzing for my evening – a delightful performance by the wonderful Bristol Ballet Theatre at the Weston Playhouse. I can’t wait to soak up the beauty and energy of a live performance.

I'm really looking forward to sharing some pictures from my travels. My camera has been very busy, and you just have to see my fantastic photos! I can't wait to show you them. In the meantime, stay fabulous, my dearest tutu lovers! You know I'll be back with a new pink-tutu adventure tomorrow. Lots of love and sparkles,

Emma 🎀✨
