Burton upon Trent - Tutu Adventures and Pink Parades! ??

Hello my dearest Tutu Tribe! ? It's Emma here, your favourite pink-loving, tutu-obsessed, ballet-mad blogger, and today, I'm buzzing about my adventures in Burton upon Trent! This delightful little town, nestled in the heart of Staffordshire, has stolen a piece of my heart – and by "piece," I mean the whole thing!

The Journey to Burton ?

My journey to Burton started, as always, with a touch of magic. I embarked on my usual ballet-themed adventure – by train, of course! This time, I donned my favourite pink polka dot dress and a tutu with the most gorgeous swirl of pink and white, fit for a princess in a fairy tale. I sat beside the window, watching the world zoom by, lost in my thoughts of pirouettes and perfect port de bras.

A Tutu for Burton ?️

I arrived in Burton feeling a surge of creative energy. You know how much I love a good vintage find! Well, I discovered the cutest little shop tucked away on a cobblestone street, overflowing with vintage treasures. After a whirlwind of browsing, I found it – the perfect Burton tutu! It was a delightful vintage creation in shades of lavender and mint green, trimmed with a delicate lace edging.

Burton Ballet Bliss ?

The town had an unexpected ballet buzz! You wouldn't believe it – but right in the centre of Burton, tucked away between a lovely cafe and a flower shop, was a charming ballet school! It was all pink and glittery, just the way I like it. I practically tripped over myself getting into that little studio! I spent the afternoon getting lost in the wonder of pirouettes, graceful tendus, and beautiful grand jetes.

Wildlife Adventures ??

After my ballet session, I had to go on a little exploration. This part of England has an incredible countryside, with beautiful woodland and meandering canals. As I walked along the Trent Riverbank, I felt a surge of peace. Nature truly does have a magical way of calming my soul.

Speaking of nature, you know I couldn't resist venturing to the Burton upon Trent Museum and Art Gallery. They had a brilliant exhibit on the local wildlife, and I was so mesmerized by the amazing photography of local deer and owls! If you're an animal lover like me, make sure to check it out!

Pink Tutu Parades ?

Of course, no Emma-themed adventure would be complete without spreading the joy of tutus! My vintage lavender tutu was just what I needed for a stroll around the historic streets of Burton upon Trent. Passersby grinned and gave me the thumbs up, and some even joined in by twirling along!

A Little Pink in Burton ?

Burton upon Trent may be known for its ale, but it definitely won me over with its charming old buildings, friendly people, and hidden pockets of beauty. I truly felt a burst of happiness exploring this beautiful little town, especially while dressed in my pink and lavender tutu.

Remember, everyone – the world needs more pink tutus! ✨

This is a call to action! Let's make the world a more sparkly, joyful, and tutu-filled place, one pink twirl at a time!

*And remember, my dears, the magic of ballet can transform any journey into an unforgettable adventure. *

Until next time, stay twirly!

Lots of love,

Emma x
