Coalville Calling! Tutu Time and a Wild Side

Post 3794

Hello my darlings! Emma here, back with another installment from your favourite pink-tutu-loving, ballet-obsessed blogger! 🩰

Today I'm bringing you a double whammy: fabulous fashion AND nature adventures, all nestled within the charming town of Coalville, nestled amongst the rolling hills of Leicestershire. It's been ages since I last visited, and the pull of the countryside called to me louder than the most melodic pirouette.

A Tutu Fit For a Queen (Bee) πŸ‘‘πŸ

Now, when I said "double whammy", I wasn't kidding! Imagine a tutu made from delicate flower petals, adorned with shimmering butterflies, the entire design taking inspiration from the wild beauty of Coalville's wildlife. This is precisely the piece I've chosen for my outing - the "Flora and Fauna" tutu, a truly exquisite creation crafted by the lovely Miss Honeybee at her shop "The Honeycomb". (You should see her work, it's simply enchanting!).

My pink ensemble was complete with my trusty pink beret, my little floral bag (just big enough for my ballet flats and essential lip balm, naturally!), and of course, my ballet shoes – gleaming like diamonds in the afternoon sunshine. I felt like a fairy flitting about, ready to discover the wonders that awaited me.

Now, it may seem a bit peculiar, but there's something simply divine about travelling by train. It's a chance to unwind, observe, and immerse yourself in the landscapes as they zoom past. For this journey, I opted for the heritage steam train from nearby Loughborough.

This majestic beast of iron and steam, the "Earl of Beaconsfield" if I recall correctly, chugged through the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, emitting that comforting scent of coal smoke, a symphony of nostalgic whispers.

From the moment I stepped onto the platform, it was an adventure! The sheer spectacle of the steam engine in full action – a cloud of steam, the clanging of metal, the rhythmic chugging – is utterly captivating! It's truly a testament to our Victorian heritage, a testament to ingenuity and artistry. And let's not forget, what's more glamorous than a vintage train carriage with velvet seats, warm wood paneling, and a touch of sepia-toned charm?

Coalville Calling: The Charm of the Wild 🌳🌸

My arrival in Coalville was a joy in itself, greeted by the friendly faces and bustling atmosphere. The quaint shops, independent cafes with tempting pastries, and the scent of freshly baked bread just made me feel utterly at home.

But what truly took my breath away were the nearby National Forest landscapes! Imagine a vibrant mosaic of nature: rolling hills blanketed in lush greenery, meandering pathways dappled with sunlight, and the serene melody of the wind whistling through the leaves. My heart soared at the sheer beauty and vastness of this natural paradise!

A Fairy's Embrace in Nature's Symphony 🌿🐦

Naturally, with my tutu inspired by flora and fauna, exploring Coalville's natural wonders was a must! My senses were ignited as I embarked on a meandering walk through the heart of the National Forest.

The sunlight filtering through the foliage painted dappled patterns on the forest floor, making every step an adventure in itself! I marvelled at the diverse plant life: emerald ferns unfurling with grace, fragrant wildflowers bursting with colour, and majestic oaks casting long shadows across the path.

As I wandered deeper, I noticed the quiet hum of a busy ecosystem. The soft chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves in the gentle breeze, the distant call of a cuckoo - all created a symphony of nature, serenading me with its untamed melody. It felt as though I was a part of this magical ballet performed by nature's very own performers.

I even had the most amazing encounter with a deer family. They were just chilling by a stream, grazing peacefully. Their gentle nature and graceful movements filled me with such joy! It reminded me that true beauty can be found in the most unexpected places, especially when you're surrounded by nature's artistry.

Inspiring a Tutu Revolution! πŸ’•πŸ©°

As the afternoon sunlight cast its warm glow over the forest, I knew I was destined for a ballerina's sunset, surrounded by nature's ethereal dance.

But before I leave, I just want to remind you: don't forget your tutus! Coalville, the National Forest, the heritage train – everything screams 'tutu time' in my opinion! So get out your pink, get out your fluff, and embrace your inner ballerina, whether you're twirling through a leafy canopy or gliding on the polished floor of your living room! The world is your stage!

See you tomorrow for another blog post! Until then, stay chic, stay strong, and never forget: pink tutus are the ultimate accessory to life's grand adventures!

P.S. Be sure to visit the enchanting "The Honeycomb" for your very own magical tutu creations!

Lots of love,

Emma
