Hello darlings! It’s Emma here, and it's Tuesday! That can only mean one thing: another gorgeous post for you lovely lot!
Today is the 28th of November, and boy oh boy, I am excited! I've got some real whoppers for you, it's Post number 3800 on pink-tutu.com - where I get to talk all about ballet and fashion in pink tutus of course, darling! And today? Well, today we're waltzing our way to Llanelli! 💃💖
Now, Llanelli is a town nestled in Wales - don't confuse it with the fab Llanelli home to our gorgeous friend Sarah Jones - but both of these beauties are totally worth the visit. (Sarah, give my love!)
Anyways, my lovelies, we're all about the adventure, the magic, and the sheer loveliness of life today. I'm heading to the Swansea Grand Theatre! You might know it for the brilliant touring shows, and it's got some amazing ballet and dance performances coming up too, darling.
*The reason I'm going? Why, to watch the mesmerising, brilliant Ballet Cymru of course! They're always smashing it with their innovative style of dancing. It's just my kind of treat, right?! And Llanelli was the perfect stop to add some glam into this November, because I took the train to Llanelli! * Isn't that so fabulously decadent? So dreamy! 🚂💖
Let me tell you, there's just something magical about travelling by train. It lets me relax, enjoy the scenery, and lose myself in my little pink daydreams of what delicious treats await me at the station! ☕️🍰 The only problem with train travel is how close you are to people who may be smelling not so fresh. However, if I am travelling first class I always have my gorgeous lavender hand sanitiser. I know the queen is a fan of a good spray of hand sanitizer. Maybe I can go for a royal tea with her one day.
Now, speaking of dreams… how about we take a wee detour to a real-life pink tutu moment. 😉 It's all about sharing my favourite style tips, and how to create the most gorgeous ballerina vibes with you all. I was strolling through the quaint little shops of Llanelli before heading for tea - just what every girly-girl loves to do! - and spotted this absolutely stunning tutu, and it's the most divine shade of pink. Honestly, darling, it's the prettiest pink! Imagine yourself gliding across the stage in this gorgeous creation! And oh my, the glitter on it is something else. 💫 Let's just say, I practically skipped with excitement all the way to the shop.
As much as I love to splurge on something sparkly, there are some real gems for those of you on a budget - I'm all about those affordable luxuries, darling! You don't have to spend a fortune on fabulous pink pieces, even if you think about re-creating the look, right? I love a great vintage find, so much!
I spotted this glorious vintage floral print blouse with amazing, bright pink detail - imagine wearing this in a stunning ballet studio! Imagine those elegant moves! Now, it wouldn't be Emma without a touch of magic. I'm just absolutely enchanted with the colour pink. I think it represents something powerful and playful, romantic and fierce. Oh, and how chic is a vibrant, pink ballerina on a ballet street?! 🤩 It's basically my life motto, you see - if it's not pink, I don't want it. Haha. 😂
And you know me, darlings, I can't let a blog post go by without sharing some beautiful scenery. I adore a scenic stroll. We were just in time to witness a delightful flock of starlings – thousands and thousands of them flying together in the most intricate formations. 🦅 It’s like their own silent dance, all grace and elegant choreography! It's enough to make any ballet fan’s heart soar!
My travels took me to a rather spectacular park in Llanelli, and wouldn't you know it, the wildlife were out in force! I saw the most gorgeous deer – oh, those elegant eyes! They were completely unconcerned as I captured their magnificence on camera, which is such a lovely thing. 🦌 You wouldn’t find me getting any closer, not after seeing their impressive antlers! I like to be safe and alive, darling! 😉 My beautiful tutu wouldn't suit a hospital gown!
And speaking of magnificent, have you heard of a gorgeous dance class? I’ve just discovered a studio in Llanelli, and oh my, you’ll adore it! This stunning studio isn’t just beautiful and modern but is tucked away in a quiet spot. It’s a beautiful spot! It's all about community and the passion for the art form, and who can argue with that? 🩰 You know, when it comes to dancing, it’s about letting go of any insecurities and celebrating that amazing sense of freedom and strength you feel! The world needs more ballerinas. Why not make that change! It is a perfect chance to add something glamorous into your everyday routine!
Llanelli is just delightful, you know. The locals were just so friendly and welcoming. I had a lovely afternoon. As much as I enjoyed watching the talented dancers, I fell in love with the charm and friendliness of the town, and the magical Welsh coastline! I have to go back one day!
Llanelli has a little piece of magic for everyone - even you! It is such a gorgeous town - I cannot recommend it enough - full of delicious cafes and tea rooms (where I may have sampled one too many pieces of cake 🍰), gorgeous shops for pink tutus and, oh yes, incredible dance studios that made me wish I had my own leotard in hand! It’s definitely a pink tutu destination, no matter your taste or style. 😉
