North Shields Calling! Tutu Adventures in the North East

Hello darlings! It's Emma here, and I'm bursting with excitement to share my latest escapade with you. This week, I swapped the rolling hills of Derbyshire for the vibrant streets of North Shields! A quick hop on the train, and I was immersed in a world of maritime history and Northern charm, all while sporting a fabulous new addition to my tutu wardrobe: a glorious cyan dream!

I must say, arriving in North Shields with a burst of colour in my stride definitely made a splash! Imagine, if you will, the classic Victorian streetscape lined with red-brick buildings, and me โ€“ in my cerulean tutu โ€“ popping in and out of quirky shops, with a cheeky wave to passers-by!

First stop, the charming Tynemouth Priory. I felt like I'd stepped back in time! Imagine this: sun-kissed stone walls overlooking a sparkling North Sea, the scent of the salt air filling my lungs, and the soft caress of the wind gently tugging at the layers of my tutu! It was a moment of pure bliss, perfect for some impromptu pirouettes!

Speaking of pirouettes, North Shields really embraces the performing arts! I had the opportunity to see a performance at the Playhouse Theatre, which was an absolute delight. I particularly enjoyed the playful interaction between the actors and the audience โ€“ they definitely kept us all on our toes!

Of course, my journey wouldn't be complete without a visit to the North Shields Fish Quay. Imagine the sight and sounds โ€“ the salty breeze, the caw of gulls, and the clatter of the fishmonger's stall! It felt like a scene straight out of a Dickens novel!

Whatโ€™s more, I found myself charmed by the bustling streets lined with quaint cafes, where the air hummed with lively conversation and the tantalising aromas of freshly baked pastries. Honestly, itโ€™s enough to make anyoneโ€™s stomach do a little arabesque!

While I was there, I stumbled upon a beautiful garden. The sight of delicate blooms, their vibrant colours a stark contrast against the lush green foliage, had me absolutely mesmerised. Imagine, my tutu fluttering as I gently swirled around a bed of fragrant roses! A dream!

On my way back to the station, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the North Tyne and the wild coastline, the vast expanse of the ocean seeming to go on forever! I have to say, this truly was an awe-inspiring way to end my North Shields adventure!

Oh, and of course, I couldn't leave without mentioning my furry friend - my miniature chihuahua, Penelope! She loves travelling with me! I must say, a pink tutu for a dog wouldn't be such a bad idea! Maybe that will be my next adventure: pink tutus for our four-legged companions. Just imagine! The world will become a dazzlingly pink paradise.

I hope my adventures have inspired you all to don your own pink tutus (or a fabulously colourful cyan one like mine) and embrace your inner ballerina. Let's paint the world with vibrant hues and a passion for movement! After all, what's life without a little twirl, a touch of pink, and a dash of delightful adventures?

Yours in pink,

Emma xxx
