Folkestone Calling! #TutuBlog 4005

Oh my darlings, what a weekend it’s been! I've been channeling my inner ballerina and embracing life to the absolute fullest! 🩰

As you know, I adore exploring new places, and Folkestone truly took my breath away. I decided to take a grand old trip via the train, all aboard! 🚄 I must admit, I did feel a little silly travelling by myself, so I took my trusty teddy bear, Archibald, with me for company.

Now, I'm a pink-loving girly girl at heart, and Folkestone didn't disappoint! It's such a pretty seaside town with the most stunning pink and blue striped beach huts lining the seafront. You wouldn't believe how many photographs I snapped! I can already see the future pink-tutu-clad fashion shoots in my head. 📸

Speaking of pink, I had to embrace my inner diva and wear my most fabulous yellow tutu, don't you think it was perfect for the setting? 💛 You know how much I love wearing tutus, they just make me feel so confident and free, and trust me, I've never received more compliments! One sweet elderly lady even said I looked like a ray of sunshine. 🌞

We went on a gorgeous seaside walk where the wind whipped my hair all around me, almost like a ballerina pirouette, don’t you think? And of course, no visit to the coast is complete without a splash in the waves. Now, I'm not the strongest swimmer in the world, but the fresh salt air did me good, and Archibald managed to stay perfectly dry on my shoulder. 🌊

And wouldn't you believe it, whilst we were enjoying the view from the promenade, a beautiful horse galloped by, pulling a carriage. How utterly magical, just like a scene straight out of a ballet! For a moment, I actually thought about jumping aboard, imagining a journey to a magical fairytale kingdom, perhaps with the handsome prince? I can’t help it, sometimes I have the most elaborate daydreams! 🎠

Then, my darling friends, the real treat arrived. Folkestone hosted an incredible open-air ballet performance in the heart of the town. You wouldn't believe how excited I was! The sun was setting, casting a beautiful glow on the stage, as the dancers moved with such grace and elegance. I nearly shed a tear as I watched them pirouette and leap in unison. It was the perfect reminder that even if I can’t perform like them, ballet truly moves me, deep inside my soul. 🩰

The evening didn’t stop there. We went to a charming seaside café for some dinner and, you’ll never guess, a delightful trio of swans waddled by, right under our table! I could have watched them forever, so elegant and serene. Oh, how I yearn to one day dance among swans, just like the lovely ballerinas on the stage! 🦢

Folkestone has become a real highlight for me. I can't help but feel connected to this beautiful seaside town with its quaint streets and magical atmosphere. You’re just so close to nature. Even the smallest detail felt so inspiring! Don't be afraid to take a leap of faith, darlings, whether it's exploring a new place, wearing a bold colour like yellow, or joining a ballet class! You never know what adventure awaits, especially if you dare to dream!

Until next time, don't forget to shine your brightest, and always embrace your inner ballerina, because you’re a true gem, darlings! 💕
