You guys, this trip has been pure magic. First of all, the journey here was so incredibly romantic. We travelled by train, of course, which is my favourite way to travel. You can just imagine: windows wide open, gentle breeze in my hair, and the most spectacular scenery rolling past. There's nothing more picturesque than the English countryside.
And speaking of picturesque, Kendal itself is utterly charming. I mean, cobbled streets, quaint little shops, and an atmosphere that is just so effortlessly cool - what's not to love? They even have a "Kendal Mint Cake" which I'm going to try soon. Can't leave a town without tasting the local delicacy! 😉
Now, you know how much I love my tutus. And this trip wouldn't be complete without a proper pink-tutu moment. So, I chose a stunning purple tutu for today's adventure. Purple, just like the heather on the hillsides around here. ⛰️ It's just the perfect color to bring out my inner wildflower.
Now, this adventure was about so much more than a ballet class or a fancy theatre show (though you bet, I'm searching for any opportunity for those!) This was about embracing nature - we visited a wildlife park with gorgeous peacocks strutting their stuff. Their colours were dazzling ! 🦚 I tried to do some gentle ballet moves for them but they weren't quite as interested in a twirl as I was. 😉
You guys, imagine peacocks wearing tutus. The world would be a much prettier, happier place, right?! 😄 Oh, I even managed to snap some fantastic photos for my Instagram - don't worry, you'll be seeing them soon!
You know what I'm going to say now, don't you? PINK TUTU FOR EVERYONE!! And maybe a peacock feather, just for good measure? 😜
After all, if you can wear a pink tutu in Kendal, you can wear a pink tutu anywhere!
