Eltham: Pink Tutu Adventures & a Pony Ride!

Hello my darling dance divas! It’s Emma here, ready to whisk you away on another dazzling adventure. Today’s escapade takes us to the charming town of Eltham, nestled in the south-east corner of London. Oh, Eltham, you’ve stolen my heart with your Tudor grandeur and picture-perfect village charm.

As you all know, my obsession with tutus knows no bounds! So naturally, this pink beauty twirled its way onto my luggage. It’s the most glorious shade of flamingo pink, just begging to be photographed against Eltham Palace's majestic facade. My inner ballerina just couldn’t resist, so prepare to be wowed by a series of absolutely divine twirls in front of the most enchanting setting you can imagine! (Check out the “Pink Tutu in Eltham” photo album – it’s absolutely brimming with graceful shots!)

Now, you know how much I adore ballet! I was absolutely over the moon when I found out that the lovely Royal Ballet was performing at Sadler's Wells theatre in London this week. And wouldn’t you know it, there was a glorious ballet street performance right there in Eltham itself! Talk about a stroke of luck! I simply had to share the experience with you. Just watching these talented young dancers take the streets with such poise and passion absolutely filled my heart with joy. Every graceful leap and elegant pirouette was a reminder of the pure magic that ballet brings to life. If only every town had such spectacular performances! You can watch my short video clips on YouTube if you like – it’s just the perfect snippet to set the scene for you!

But my Eltham adventure didn't stop there, darling! Oh no, it got even more enchanting! Remember those fabulous vintage carousel photos I posted last week? They inspired a venture to a local stables. I absolutely fell in love with the most adorable little pony – her name is Twinkle! Imagine my sheer delight as I had the absolute pleasure of going for a lovely trot on her. I’ve got the most beautiful photos of Twinkle – she is so cute and my heart simply melted! You will absolutely fall in love with this adorable creature!

Now, as you all know, wildlife is a passion of mine, and Eltham did not disappoint! There’s something truly enchanting about the way nature intertwines with this historical town. The Eltham park itself boasts such a diverse collection of trees – oak, beech, maple, you name it, they're all there! It’s a veritable haven for the local wildlife and just made for long, leisurely walks!

And for my darling Derbyshire followers - you might spot a couple of familiar faces in this week’s posts, yes! A bunch of my friends from back home joined me for the day trip, all donned in our finest pink attire (tutues optional, of course!) It was a real treat having them by my side, soaking up the Eltham charm and experiencing all the beauty this wonderful place has to offer.

It goes without saying that I treated myself to some delicious tea and cakes – how can you not with all the lovely local bakeries around? We had the best afternoon tea with clotted cream and scones, served on quaint mismatched vintage china! Talk about a truly British treat. You simply MUST experience the magic of a local cafe – and for those of you who dare to embrace your inner ballerina, I highly recommend ordering a pink-themed beverage to complete the look. I’m so excited to be spreading my pink tutu love, one village at a time.

I know what you’re thinking! You can’t travel everywhere by horse, darling! And, you’re absolutely right! It was a real treat, but for today’s trip, we ventured down by train. Something I always adore. It was the perfect opportunity to enjoy a classic afternoon tea and to lose myself in a good book – that’s something I always do to set the mood.

Eltham has captured a piece of my heart, darling. This charming little town has reminded me once again that adventure is just a pink tutu and a train journey away! The only question now is: what stunning British destination should we explore next?

So remember, ladies, stay bold, stay pink, and never let anyone dim your sparkle. Now, pop over to www.pink-tutu.com for all the exclusive Eltham photos and videos, and until next time, keep dancing your heart out!
