Hello my darling dance divas! It's Emma here, your favourite pink-tutu-clad blogger, ready to share another fabulous day with you! Today, I'm buzzing with excitement as I embark on a journey to the enchanting town of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire! This town has a special place in my heart, not just because of its picturesque charm but also because it's a hotbed of incredible ballet talent.
I'm hopping onto the train this morning, wearing my absolute favourite blush pink tutu, the one with the fluffy tulle that makes me feel like a ballerina straight out of a fairytale. It's going to be a journey filled with romance, thanks to the glorious English countryside whipping past my window, but the true magic will begin once I arrive in Bromsgrove.
This trip marks the beginning of a whirlwind weekend of ballet-filled activities. You see, my beloved Bromsgrove is hosting a stunning exhibition celebrating the work of one of my favourite contemporary ballet choreographers, who happens to be an alumni of the wonderful local ballet school, The Bromsgrove Dance Academy. My plan? To immerse myself in the beauty of his movement, soak up the inspiring atmosphere of the academy, and even, if I'm lucky, catch a glimpse of the current students performing their hearts out.
Later this afternoon, I'm going to explore Bromsgrove’s High Street and treat myself to a delightful cup of afternoon tea in one of the charming tea rooms. Nothing beats a bit of indulgence after a long journey! Oh, and of course, no trip to a new place is complete without snapping a few Instagram-worthy shots.
The main event of my trip is a truly special evening: a spectacular ballet performance in the Bromsgrove Arts Centre, featuring The Bromsgrove Dance Academy, performing their very own captivating production of a classic fairytale. Just the thought of it has me twirling in my armchair! I'm expecting stunning choreography, exquisite costuming, and maybe even a sprinkle of fairy dust.
Bromsgrove is a place that vibrates with the energy of dance. I can't wait to feel the buzz in the air, to witness the incredible talent blossoming in this town, and of course, to be a part of it all!
