Rugby – The Twirling Tour 🩰

Good morning, my lovely Tutu-ers! πŸ‘‹

The sun's shining in Derbyshire this morning, so I’m feeling all the happy pink feels, ready for another glorious day on our twirling adventure! πŸŽ‰

After a quick breakfast, I pulled on my signature pink tutu (obviously) and packed up my travel essentials:

  • A beautiful book of ballet poetry - for that bit of culture on the way to Rugby πŸ“š
  • A sketchpad and some colourful pencils – always ready to capture all the beautiful ballet moments 🩰
  • And, of course, my favourite ballet pumps for a spot of twirling while I wait on the train πŸš‚

Today, we are travelling by train to Rugby, a town famed for its connection with the world’s oldest Rugby Union club! It’s been an ambition of mine for ages to visit a town steeped in rugby history. πŸ‰

Before I head off though, let me tell you, I had an unexpected treat yesterday. 🐾 After class, I took a stroll through the countryside near my local Derbyshire town, breathing in the fresh air. It was then that I came across a beautiful herd of deer. 🦌 Their delicate movements were almost balletic, especially the young fawn leaping and prancing in the field. They were a lovely reminder of the natural beauty that surrounds us.

Anyway, I’m rambling, aren't I? Back to our journey! I love taking the train for the journey to Rugby. I think it gives you a different view of the country than if you drove. I always take a window seat and just relax and observe the passing landscape. It's so calming and inspirational! The rhythmic clicking of the wheels feels a bit like a metronome, too. It helps me get my ballet brain in the right gear, ready to take on the world of Rugby with my pink tutu. 🌸

Speaking of Rugby, I am absolutely thrilled to be visiting the town’s iconic Rugby School and the hallowed Rugby Football Museum! My mind is brimming with ideas for how I can combine my ballet love with the spirit of Rugby, to create some unique twirling photos for you all to enjoy. Maybe a graceful pirouette around the famous rugby post? Or a leap across the famous Rugby pitch, tutu fluttering in the wind? It's gonna be EPIC! πŸ’–

After Rugby School, I have my eyes set on the Rugby Football Museum. It's the perfect place to understand the origins of this fantastic sport! And what better way to do it than in a pink tutu, right? πŸ˜‰

I also have my sights set on Rugby’s amazing culture. I’ve heard tell of its beautiful parklands, the stunning Rugby Town Hall, and the welcoming pubs that make this town a real gem. Can you imagine me having a lovely afternoon tea in a tutu? A lovely scene to capture! 🍰

Oh, and how could I forget! My fellow Tutu-ers are already whispering about the "pink-tutu rugby" trend that’s going viral online! So exciting! πŸ’ƒ Rugby fans everywhere are posting their best pink tutu shots while watching their favourite teams play, and the photos are just brilliant! We’re spreading the pink love through rugby. It makes me so happy to see the world embracing pink tutus. πŸ₯°

One of my goals is to make ballet as accessible and embraced by all as possible. Seeing a movement like this really does give me hope that one day we can make it happen. 🀩

Well, that's me off. This town awaits! You're all invited to follow along on this journey on Instagram and Facebook at www.pink-tutu.com. I will be posting all my adventures there.

As always, keep it twirling, my dears. πŸ’•
