Crosby Calling! #4518 ๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿ’–

Hello, my lovely pink tutu-ers! It's Emma here, and guess what? Today, I'm channeling my inner ballerina, not in the studio, but in the heart of Crosby, Liverpool! That's right, I'm not just about pirouettes and plies; I'm also about exploring, discovering, and bringing my own little brand of pink tutu magic to new corners of the world.

I love to travel! Thereโ€™s just something about discovering new places that gets me all aflutter. Trains are definitely my preferred mode of transport, you can just look out of the window and get inspired for a new blog post, or even dream up some fabulous choreography. Sometimes I like to travel by horse โ€“ that's another story for another day, but suffice to say it's both very scenic and excellent for keeping those ballerina legs in shape! ๐ŸŽ

Todayโ€™s adventure brought me to Crosby, a beautiful seaside town known for its fascinating history and the iconic Antony Gormley iron men installation that graces the shore. ๐ŸŒŠ I even tried my best to balance on top of one โ€“ though I did have to call for backup to stop me from plunging into the waves. ๐Ÿ™ˆ (It was quite a sight, just picture the iconic Antony Gormley statues with a bright pink tutu balanced on top of them!) You can see the picture in my Instagram - itโ€™s on @Emma_tutu. Donโ€™t forget to check out the new video Iโ€™m going to post tonight where I give a few tutu-twirls in front of the beach. ๐Ÿ’– Itโ€™s a little windy today but Iโ€™ve managed to make a cute video anyway!

Speaking of tutus, for this Crosby adventure, I decided to unleash the sea goddess within โ€“ and what better way than with a stunning, sky-blue tutu! ๐Ÿณ I know, I know, pink is my signature colour, but sometimes even I feel the need to shake things up and explore other shades of the rainbow. Plus, it felt perfectly fitting for this seaside escape. ๐Ÿ’™

Even in Crosby, I canโ€™t leave ballet behind. After a bit of exploring, I managed to track down a wonderful little ballet school just around the corner. Itโ€™s a classic ballet school with big, airy studios, beautiful wooden floors, and enough barre space for a whole company of dancers. It just calls out to you to get moving! The owner is lovely and gave me permission to use the studio for a little ballet session in my sparkling, new, cyan tutu! This ballet school has all the magic you need โ€“ maybe weโ€™ll set up a blog tour one day.

And guess what, everyone? You know my motto is "Get Tutu-ed, Get Moving!" โ€“ well, in Crosby, I decided to take that a step further by setting up a spontaneous flash mob with the other dancers in the class! We started with a bit of a warmup, a few simple ballet stretches, and thenโ€ฆbam! โ€“ "Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake" set the tone, and we were gliding through those elegant movements with grace and elegance. It was magical โ€“ everyone gathered around in a circle and you could just feel the sense of excitement and joy radiating outwards. ๐Ÿฆข๐Ÿฉฐ A big group hug at the end! I love that! Who needs a ballet class to make you feel joyful? Not me, for sure.

You can bet I've already got a few new blog posts bubbling away in my head โ€“ I'm thinking "Coastal Chic: Ballet by the Bay", or maybe even "Tutus on the Beach!" ๐Ÿ˜‰ I mean, why limit tutu magic to the stage? I want to see them swirling in gardens, fluttering on mountain tops, and dancing across city streets. ๐Ÿ™๏ธ Letโ€™s make this world a more vibrant and whimsical place, one pink tutu at a time. ๐Ÿ’–

And that, my dearest readers, is just the beginning of my Crosby adventure! Tomorrow, I'm heading to the local museum, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more exciting tutu escapades. Who knows what kind of new, tutu-tastic things we'll discover in Crosby? ๐Ÿ’–

Until next time, keep dancing! ๐Ÿฉฐ

Yours truly,

Emma xx
