Feltham Calling! šŸ©° šŸ“ šŸ’– (Post #5007)

Oh my goodness, darlings! I am thrilled to be back on the blog after a whirlwind of a week! The wind has been practically whipping my pink tutu around my legs as I've been hurtling about on various adventures, but here I am, back in my little pink corner of the internet ready to tell you all about it!

So, where have I been this time? Well, prepare to be utterly enraptured because... drumroll please... Feltham. You know me, I do love a good adventure and finding those hidden gems of beauty, those little corners of the world where the magic happens, and darling, Feltham delivered.

It all started with a train journey, as it so often does! A journey on the Elizabeth Line, oh what a fabulous name, fit for a Queen of Ballet, if you ask me! The carriages were modern and spacious, offering more than enough leg room for a girl who's had a life devoted to stretching and graceful extension (it was almost as good as being on stage, almost!) šŸ˜‰ . The landscape outside the window was a charming blur of fields, farms and, oh my goodness, did you see that cute little horse grazing near the track?! (And the colours! I am absolutely positively obsessed with shades of green - that green is almost as pretty as pink).

Food-Inspired Fashion: The 'Eat Me' Tutu

Upon arriving in Feltham, I decided to kick things off with a splash. Literally! Because let me tell you, I wore a tutu inspired by none other than our favourite food: Strawberry šŸ“. Yes, you heard right, a Strawberry-themed tutu! Pink fabric, naturally, with little tiny fabric strawberries dotted about - so adorable! And trust me, the strawberries were all completely edible. Itā€™s true, my love for pink and food knows no bounds.

A few lovely people actually stopped me on the street asking where I got my "gorgeous dress." Of course, a queen of ballet canā€™t divulge all the secrets of her couture - so I gave them a mysterious little wink and told them I got it at a ā€œlittle shop called 'Pink Dream'" with a playful wink (but trust me, it's actually called ā€˜Emmaā€™s pink Paradiseā€™, darling! šŸ¤« ) Anyway, that's the fun thing about wearing pink and dancing, it draws people in, sparks up conversations, and who knows where those might lead?

A Little Bird Told Me...

After my food-themed adventure, I decided it was time to visit one of my favourite things: a wildlife sanctuary! Yes! So many gorgeous feathered creatures and amazing sights. The sunshine dappled through the trees, the wind whispered secrets to the birds, and I'm absolutely sure that I saw the cutest squirrel... I think he might have even smiled at me.

Oh! And darling, donā€™t get me started on the bird-watching. *The sheer elegance of those birds in flight! * They're so graceful. (Did I tell you I love birds? Donā€™t worry if you have - I love them SO MUCH). You've got to admit - that is seriously graceful flying, even a ballet dancer would be jealous of some of their moves. They can change direction so easily - imagine what we could do in a ballet with moves like that?!

I tried to snap a few pics but my camera just couldnā€™t quite capture their graceful movement. Still, it felt really peaceful to be surrounded by nature, so serene. It's amazing what a simple stroll through the woods can do to unwind you.

A Pink Dance at a Pink-tastic Studio

For my next act, I headed for the local ballet studio - an absolute gem tucked away on a little side street. The place just oozed ballet magic! Pink and beautiful, of course, and with the sweetest, most adorable little ballerina on the reception desk! * It turned out she was giving her first class that evening - and yes darling, it was the *best thing Iā€™ve seen all day. So precise, elegant and controlled. And, naturally, I went straight to the teacher afterwards to compliment her on the sheer divine beauty of her class, what else is a ballerina to do?.

Of course, I couldn't resist taking a few steps in the studio too. They felt divine under my strawberry tutu, you know! Iā€™ve been trying to make it a rule to practice even if itā€™s just for a minute a day. Every step matters!

Later that night, I visited a ballet performance at the Feltham Centre for Arts! The building was beautiful. It was actually surprisingly lovely - nothing like the image of an average little art centre Iā€™d imagined. There was even a beautiful balcony! A real-life Julietā€™s balcony, I felt a little like I was a Juliet, though there were no Romeo's in sight, just plenty of other fabulous ballet dancers! It was a stunning performance and really gave me a whole new appreciation for what makes ballet magic, because when a group of talented ballerinas put all those moves together with feeling and skillā€¦ well, it's magical! I must say I was impressed with the performance, darling. I might even be tempted to perform there one dayā€¦ (shhh, donā€™t tell everyone, but the pink tutu has been quietly plotting for some Feltham magicā€¦.)

Pink Inspiration for all

Darling, I truly believe that the world could do with a lot more pink and a lot more ballet in it. Imagine all those bright smiles! Think of the feeling of community when a whole village comes together to take to the dance floor - what a joyous spectacle that would be! Ballet is beautiful and thereā€™s beauty in pink too - I know this because the colour makes me sooo happy. I truly think the whole world could use some more of both!

Itā€™s time to go darlings. I am absolutely bursting with inspiration, full of excitement for new pink ventures, and new dance projects. I canā€™t wait to share more of my adventures with you! As always, thanks for joining me on my journey, and if you fancy making it your journey - get that tutu on! I'd love to see your adventures too, my sweet peas! šŸ©°

Until next timeā€¦ šŸ’–

Emma xx
