Edgware: Pink Tutu Adventures, Post #5019 ๐Ÿฉฐ๐ŸŒธ

Hello darlings!

It's Emma here, back from a whirlwind trip to Edgware, and I'm positively bubbling over with excitement to tell you all about it! ๐Ÿ’–

Now, you know how much I love exploring the UK by train, right? This week, I decided to ditch the trusty steed and head up north, and let me tell you, the train journey itself was an adventure! I practically floated through the carriages, a vision in my new pale pink tulle tutu (courtesy of my dear friend Millie who runs the most fabulous boutique in Derbyshire โ€“ Iโ€™ll be doing a feature on it in a couple of weeks!) with a little vintage handbag and some sparkly ballet flats. Everyone kept glancing at me with smiles, and I swear I even heard someone whisper "Tutu girl!" โ€“ always a compliment in my book.

Of course, I wouldnโ€™t be travelling without my pink polka-dot notebook and a thermos of raspberry tea โ€“ gotta stay hydrated for all those leaps and twirls, don't you know!

My destination? Edgware!

The minute I stepped out of the station, I knew this place was special. The air was filled with a unique kind of energy โ€“ it's a little like stepping into a 50s movie with modern touches! The locals, who were surprisingly keen on sharing my love for all things pink (shocking, I know!), told me that Edgware is famous for its street art โ€“ not just your usual graffiti, oh no! Iโ€™m talking murals with intricate ballet scenes and colourful tutus, just bursting with life!

And speaking of life, itโ€™s time to talk about the animals! ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ’– You see, right on the outskirts of Edgware is this lovely stables and I couldn't resist popping in. Imagine my delight when I spotted a beautiful grey mare with the most adorable pink halter. I had to chat with her owners and they even let me pet her โ€“ and she loved my tutu! Talk about kindred spirits! I was so mesmerized I even ended up sketching her in my little notebook. (She is now on Instagram โ€“ check out her page โ€˜@PinkHorseEdgwareโ€™).

Now, what's a trip to Edgware without a proper ballet fix? This charming little town actually has a brilliant amateur theatre with a stunning new production of 'Giselle' planned. Of course, I'll be there โ€“ wearing my blush-pink tulle tutu (I might even match my lip gloss!)! Imagine me taking notes, not just on the choreography, but on the intricate set design. There's even a new ballet shop in Edgware (which was as much a delight as a box of chocolates!), and I scored a vintage ballet wrap that I'm totally going to rock to the next class.

But it wouldn't be a true pink-tutu-blogging adventure without a little culinary treat, right? Edgware surprised me with this fabulous tea room right next to the theatre โ€“ imagine the most beautiful pastel pink interior, delicate floral china and the best homemade raspberry and cream cake in the world. Seriously, it was a dream come true for a pink-loving girl like me.

Edgware really captured my heart! It's a charming town with so much to offer โ€“ stunning wildlife, vibrant art, and a love for dance โ€“ just my kind of place. Honestly, darlings, I canโ€™t wait to go back and spend more time discovering all that this hidden gem has to offer.

Until next time, keep those pink tutus twirling!

Yours,

Emma ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฉฐ www.pink-tutu.com
