Hello my lovelies! 🩰 It's your girl Emma, bringing you a fresh dose of pink and pirouettes from the delightful town of Wishaw! Yes, you heard me right! This Derbyshire lass traded her usual scenic countryside for a spot of Scottish charm and it's been absolutely glorious!
This trip, I'm feeling very "Alice in Wonderland" because I'm riding the rails in style! I just can't resist a good old-fashioned train journey, the click-clacking rhythm, the sprawling countryside views... it's so much more glamorous than a mundane bus ride, don't you think? 🚂
Now, I know what you're thinking: "Emma, you wouldn't be caught dead in a boring old tutu while travelling by train, would you?" And you'd be right! This time, I'm rocking an absolute show-stopper – a dreamy American-style tutu! Think layers upon layers of shimmering pink tulle, enough to make a grown woman swoon! 💖
Oh, the joy of being able to express yourself with your fashion choices! Every outfit is a story waiting to be told, and today's is all about bold, sassy confidence with a dash of sweet ballerina charm! It's like I've sprinkled a little bit of "Emma" magic on this sleepy Scottish town. 😉
And the best part? The people here in Wishaw are just the sweetest! They're so friendly and down-to-earth, and they seem to be utterly charmed by my fabulous tutu! I've had people stop me for pictures, asking about my inspiration, and honestly, it's been a truly heartwarming experience! 🥰
Of course, no adventure is complete without a ballet fix. Luckily, Wishaw has a charming little dance studio called "The Twirling Thistle" tucked away in a charming little corner of town. They even offer ballet classes in the mornings, which perfectly aligned with my train schedule – talk about luck! You know I had to get my pirouette on, right?! I had such a fun time meeting the instructors and fellow ballet enthusiasts. There's something truly special about the camaraderie shared in a dance studio. 🩰
While in Wishaw, I stumbled upon a peculiar sight – a group of wild geese hanging out by a local pond. It's not everyday you find wild geese in a town setting, but there they were, serenely dipping their feathers in the water! They seem to be very content with their urban home, and honestly, they're living their best feathered lives! 🌿 🦢
I'm completely enchanted by this little slice of Scottish life, and I just know it's not going to be my last visit. I've already got plans to come back for their annual "Thistle Fair" – I can practically feel the tutu-twirling opportunities! ✨
