Droitwich - My German Tutu's Debut! πŸ©°πŸ’–

Hey darlings! It's Emma, signing in from Droitwich! Can you believe it's already January 14th? I'm really not ready to say goodbye to Christmas! 😩 Well, unless you're counting the Boxing Day Sales which is definitely worth getting into the festive spirit for! πŸ˜‰ But enough about Christmas... I'm here to talk about the most fabulous trip to Droitwich I've ever had - which is saying a lot considering this is about my 10th visit in the past two years!

This time, my travels took a turn toward the magical! I have a confession to make. You guys know I adore a good tutu (shocking, I know!) But ever since a chance encounter with a fabulous German shop, I've had this gorgeous vintage tutu hanging in my wardrobe, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to make its grand debut. Well, that opportunity presented itself at Droitwich, and oh, let me tell you, it was just… well… pinktastic!

A Day for Dancing - Droitwich Style

First things first, my trusty steed carried me straight to the ballet school where I was going to spend the afternoon learning new moves and reconnecting with my love for the classical ballet. 🩰 (This might have been inspired by watching Swan Lake with my Gran last week... You know how she is about a good old-fashioned performance! πŸ˜„) I must say, the Droitwich Ballet Studio is one of my absolute faves! They're always playing beautiful classical music, and the vibe is so warm and welcoming. Plus, they have a really lovely cafe right next door where I treated myself to a delicious scone and a pot of pink herbal tea - you can't beat a classic afternoon treat, especially when you're looking to get your sugar fix after an intense class.

After mastering a few new pirouettes, I decided to treat myself to some real-life ballerina vibes. And where better than the grand theatre in Droitwich?! The building is beautiful, even though I think I saw a spider web in the corner! πŸ˜‚ It really transported me back to Victorian times - oh, the romances that could have been spun! (And let's face it, the real dramas could have unfolded there, too… you know I love a good historical novel with a dash of melodrama! 🎭)

Droitwich Delight and A Very German Tutu

After a long, glamorous afternoon of dance and historical exploration, it was time to head out and explore Droitwich properly. Now, I don't need to tell you about Droitwich Spa. You've all seen it on Instagram! All the Insta-influencers love Droitwich Spa. And with good reason! The architecture is breathtaking! So, obviously, this was where I took my German tutu for its first walk. This baby has feathers and lace, it's the perfect combination of ballerina elegance and theatrical drama! I think I heard a few murmurs as I walked by - maybe some envious glances? πŸ˜‰ It truly felt like stepping into a ballet scene right there in Droitwich!

Of course, I didn't leave the Spa without taking some serious photos. After all, this was a truly insta-worthy outfit. #PinkTutuDroitwich #GermanyToDroitwich πŸ’–πŸ“Έ You might have to see my instagram later, I just might need to upload some snaps of me with this gorgeous tutu in all its pink glory! 😍

Ballet & Nature - A Perfect Match

After the spa, I headed over to the Droitwich Wildlife Park. It was time to recharge after all that dancing! πŸ˜„ Now, Droitwich is a beautiful town, and the wildlife park is just another reason to fall in love with it! They've got such amazing animals there, from deer to ducks to cheeky squirrels. (Okay, I admit I may have fed them a couple of my scone crumbs! πŸ˜‰ Who can resist a furry little face pleading for a treat? πŸ˜… ) And of course, there were more opportunities for photos. Did I mention the light at this park? Just perfection. Perfect for a girly photoshoot, that's what! (I'm sure you can all see me getting my serious "I-am-a-ballet-goddess-pose" on!)

The Final Word on Droitwich - Until next time…

You know I can't leave a blog post without ending with a positive thought! πŸ’– Today, my love for Droitwich was just re-confirmed. It's the kind of town that brings together the love of nature, ballet, and everything pink! This German Tutu adventure will stay with me for ages - a true Droitwich memory.
