North Shields: A Tutu-tastic Adventure! 🩰💖

Hello darlings! It's Emma here, your friendly neighbourhood pink-tutu-clad ballerina, and I'm buzzing to tell you all about my fabulous trip to North Shields! This is post number 5877 on www.pink-tutu.com, and I'm on a mission to fill it with all the pink, fluffy, twirly goodness that my adventures have brought me!

This time, it was the railway for me - a nostalgic journey up to the beautiful North East. Oh, the charm of chugging through the English countryside! A scenic escape with a delightful book in hand – the perfect pre-ballet adventure. As I looked out of the window, I even spotted a little hedgehog snuggled amongst the wildflowers, such a sweet, fluffy, little fellow. 🦔 💕 He seemed to be enjoying the sunny afternoon just as much as me!

I’ve got to say, North Shields is absolutely charming. It’s got a real maritime history feel, and it’s definitely not your usual, boring old tourist spot. From its charming, quaint streets with colourful pubs and bustling shops, to its historic fishing heritage – it has that undeniable North-Eastern grit. I have to admit I did splurge on a gorgeous hand-knitted mohair cardigan in a dusty rose shade, you know, for all the sea-side breezes… and for my pink tutu collection, of course!

The reason I headed North Shields though? You guessed it, Ballet! A delightful afternoon spent at the North Shields Theatre Royal was simply divine. It was the Royal Ballet company performing “Giselle”, and darling, let me tell you, I was totally enraptured. Those ballerinas were phenomenal, their moves were like whispers of air and their costumes… exquisite! It was truly the perfect combination of grace and passion, a whirlwind of ethereal elegance! You all know I’m a big advocate for getting into ballet and, I promise, watching performances is so uplifting!

Speaking of which, there was the sweetest little girl watching, clutching her pink sparkly bag like a precious jewel. Now that, my lovelies, is a ballet-lover in the making! 💫 Maybe that little one will even consider becoming the next big ballerina one day. A girl can dream, can’t she?

Afterwards, I indulged in the best fish and chips I've had in ages - I’m sure it was made even better by the excitement of the performance. What a beautiful way to finish off a perfect day! I can’t wait to show you all some pictures of this divine day out. Just a heads up – you’re in for a treat! 😍

Of course, no trip to North Shields would be complete without a dose of pink fluffiness. I decided to have a twirl on the stunning Tynemouth Long Sands beach - yes, I actually wore my cyan tutu for a sunset waltz! The wind was whispering in my ears and the sand beneath my feet felt so silky, like a dream. And the sky… oh darling! It was a fiery masterpiece painted across the heavens! Pink and orange hues mingled in a kaleidoscope of wonder, it was the perfect backdrop to my tutu. 💕 It reminded me just how beautifully, wonderfully, and totally delightfully the world shines when we let it!

Honestly, I really want you all to get into ballet, and I’d encourage all my lovely pink-tutu-wearers to head to North Shields for some inspiration. You know me, I'm always on the hunt for a great performance, and I am absolutely certain this theatre won’t disappoint!

Right then, lovelies! I’m off to edit my ballet-themed vlog. My adventures continue! I have so many plans brewing for my future, so many tutu outfits to be styled! Until next time! ✨💕

P.S. Remember, you can catch up on all the previous posts on www.pink-tutu.com! Don’t forget, my lovely followers, my life's ambition is for every one to wear a pink tutu and try ballet. Together, let's make the world a more fabulous, graceful, and fun place! 😉 💖
