Earley, My Lovely! 🩰

Oh, hello there, darlings! Emma here, ready to whisk you away to the delightful town of Earley, Berkshire. Today's been a whirlwind of pink, tutus, and … wait for it … a dash of equine magic! Buckle up, lovelies, as I regale you with this delightful escapade!

First things first: my outfit! Of course, you can’t be an Emma blog post without a tutu, so I went for a full-length, voluminous affair in a softest blush pink. You see, I always feel like a princess in my tutu - it just screams confidence, elegance, and whimsy! The colour pink? Don't even get me started - it's a mood-booster, a confidence booster, and simply a joyous colour! I paired it with a white crop top and my favourite silver ballet shoes - they sparkle, just like me, when I twirl!

My morning began with a journey by train. Oh, I do adore a good train journey - a chance to gaze at the countryside, enjoy a cuppa, and soak in the sights. Speaking of sights, Earley was absolutely beautiful! The landscape is so charming, so quintessentially English - it just feels like a painting! We passed by fields of bright yellow sunflowers and emerald-green meadows. If you ask me, nature has a certain charm, just like ballet. The grace and flow, the artistry and wonder!

We were in Earley to see a performance of 'Giselle' at the Thames Valley Dance Academy - always a thrill to catch a live ballet performance. As we entered the theatre, the excitement was palpable. I could feel a frisson of joy in the air, anticipation mixed with pure joy. The music started, and I was transported to a world of beauty and grace. The dancers were simply divine! Each gesture, each turn, told a story - the emotion was breathtaking.

And after the show? Why, a picnic in the park, of course! This park was absolutely stunning, dotted with trees offering welcome shade from the summer sun. I savoured every delicious mouthful of my picnic lunch - a delectable spread of fresh fruit, delicate sandwiches, and, of course, a touch of pink - pink lemonade for the occasion, naturally!

After all that excitement, I felt a hankering for something…wild. I decided to head for a horse riding session. Yes, darlings, this girl has a secret passion! And it was pure bliss. I rode through a scenic meadow, feeling the breeze through my hair, the sun on my face, and the rhythmic pulse of the horse beneath me. There’s something deeply magical about being on horseback, about feeling connected to the land and the animal - it's like an extension of the graceful elegance of ballet, but with an extra touch of rugged freedom.

You know, some people may say my love for tutus and ballet is a little “extra.” But, I say, who cares?! Life's about celebrating the little things, the things that bring joy! A twirl in a tutu is a guaranteed mood-boost, and watching ballet never fails to inspire. So let's all wear our hearts (and maybe even some pink tutus) on our sleeves.

Here's a little question for you darlings! If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Let me know in the comments, I always love hearing from my lovely readers!

As for me, I'm off to dream about the graceful arabesques of "Giselle" and to plan my next ballet-related escapade! Remember, every day can be an adventure, and wearing a tutu (even in your wildest dreams) is the perfect way to add a dash of sparkle and a lot of joy. Until next time, darlings!

Yours, in all things pink and tutu-ful, Emma www.pink-tutu.com
