Emma here, your Derbyshire girl living the dream, one twirl at a time! It’s another glorious day in the land of tutus, and guess what? Today, I’m on the rails to Croydon! I can’t wait to see what adventures this vibrant, south London borough holds for a ballet-obsessed lady like myself.
Before I embark on my Croydon escapade, let’s chat about tutus! Did you know, a study once revealed that wearing a tutu increases your happiness by a whopping 37%? (Don’t ask me where they got that number, but it sounds about right, doesn't it?!) I’ve packed a real showstopper of a tutu for this trip. Picture this: a luscious blush pink, with tiers upon tiers of billowing tulle. It’s basically a fluffy cloud I can twirl around in! 😉 I can already imagine the surprised looks and happy smiles my pink paradise will create on the Croydon streets!
The train journey is already brimming with inspiration. A family of swans is gliding gracefully across a serene pond outside my window - an elegant performance even nature can't resist! 🦢 If only swans could wear tutus! I'd totally give them a go if they could. Speaking of wildlife, have you seen the beautiful bird displays at Croydon’s local parks? I hear there’s even a family of squirrels living in the tree outside the Royal Opera House – wouldn’t that be amazing to see?!
