Walton-upon-Thames: Tutu Travels and a European Affair!

Hello lovelies!

Emma here, and oh my, do I have a tale to tell! Today's adventure began as always with a beautiful sunrise in Derbyshire. My heart just melts when I see the sky glow like a pink tulle skirt - just the colours to get me excited for the day!

My journey was one of pure girly bliss. I'd booked myself a first-class ticket on the train, a decision inspired by an irresistible offer from the train company, with complimentary champagne and scones! The trip was like being whisked away in a royal carriage - I just couldn't resist the opportunity for some travel glamour!

But my heart truly skipped a beat when I arrived in Walton-upon-Thames! You all know how much I adore a touch of European flair, and let me tell you, Walton has it in spades! It felt like a little bit of Paris with its cobblestone streets, charming cafes and independent shops. Even the air felt different, like a Parisian kiss.

I decided to visit a little independent tutu shop - it was pink, darling! And bursting at the seams with the most magnificent tutus I've ever laid eyes on. Imagine a tutu shop with tutus inspired by ballet, opera, theatre, street style - oh, it was simply divine. And of course, I had to pick up something special! A vibrant, bright pink tutu - just a tiny bit whimsical with little pink roses and fluffy pink feathers around the hem. This one’s going straight into the rotation, darling!

This was just the beginning of my adventures. Next stop - a fabulous local dance studio! They were holding a special workshop led by a renowned ballet teacher from Paris. This is exactly the kind of thing I love about ballet. The international community! The way it connects dancers, teachers and choreographers across the world. Imagine – I learned a few beautiful moves, listened to an incredible lecture on the history of Parisian ballet, and even managed to have a wonderful, spontaneous tea party with some of the lovely dancers in the studio.

Oh, I just love that sort of spontaneous Parisian flair.

You know, a little tutu can go a long way. It can transform an ordinary day into an extraordinary one, just like it did today. So go on, grab a tutu, throw it on, and see what happens. You never know who you might meet or where your journey will lead!

Remember, darling, you don’t need to be a ballerina to wear a tutu or appreciate the magic of ballet. We're all dancers at heart - whether it's waltzing through life, gliding through the grocery store, or dancing with a loved one.

But I haven't even mentioned my day’s highlight yet - a breathtaking performance at a nearby theatre. And oh, the ballet was divine! A captivating story, an incredible orchestra, and a cast of talented dancers performing graceful leaps and exquisite pirouettes, their movements light as a feather! And then, my darling, imagine the scene! At the end, the lead dancer did a grand jeté that sent my heart soaring into the ceiling. I could feel myself clapping along with the rest of the audience, tears of joy streaming down my cheeks. It was pure magic, and a reminder of the magic that dance can bring into our lives.

Now, even a tutu princess needs some relaxation time. My perfect ending to this fabulous day in Walton-upon-Thames? A delightful stroll in the countryside, taking in the gentle English air. A little while spent admiring the vibrant green meadows and watching some beautiful horses graze in the fields.

Even the horses in this part of England have such Parisian style. It is truly magical, my darlings.

To recap - Parisian Flair, exquisite tutus, divine ballet performances and beautiful horses – what a wonderful day! If you're ever feeling lost for ideas for your next adventure, darling, give Walton-upon-Thames a go. Who knows, you might find a touch of your own Parisian flair, maybe a new favorite tutu or even a new passion.

And, of course, make sure to check back tomorrow! I've got some exciting new ideas brewing, like a Parisian picnic in Hyde Park, a little photoshoot in a vintage dress, and who knows what else. It’s going to be a beautiful day!

Until tomorrow, stay lovely!

xx Emma
