Whatever the reason, today I'm feeling absolutely inspired by a delicious vegan chocolate and orange cake I devoured yesterday at the sweetest little bakery just outside Feltham.
And that's how my "Food-tastic" tutu was born! Picture it: a beautiful pink base tutu, delicately hand-embellished with a splash of bright orange tulle, reminiscent of juicy orange segments. Then, a few sparkling silver stars scattered across, adding just the right touch of sophisticated sweetness, just like the sprinkle of sugar on that magnificent vegan cake!
Before my journey to Feltham, I was back in Derbyshire, savouring a gorgeous breakfast of local, organic produce - strawberries, blackberries and yoghurt, followed by a quick horse-riding session with my trusty steed, Pippa. It was an invigorating morning, but as much as I adore galloping through the Derbyshire countryside, I couldn't help but dream about this week's big trip to London. And now I’m in Feltham, just a hop, skip, and a jump from London's bustle. The first stop on my journey is a lovely boutique dance studio.

Now, Feltham might not be the most obvious place to find a world-class dance studio, but don’t be fooled. I'm always on the lookout for the best hidden gems, and I can confidently tell you this is it!
Inside, it's a haven for all things graceful and elegant, adorned with photos of prima ballerinas gracing the grand stages of the world. They're not just inspirational for aspiring ballerinas; they are a powerful reminder that dance is an art form with the potential to reach heights that touch the very souls of those who experience it. It’s something that inspires me deeply, even on days like today. I can’t wait to experience this special studio's magic!
The warm, inviting ambiance of the Feltham dance studio gets me immediately energized, a perfect backdrop to begin the day with some dynamic stretches and pliés. My ballet teacher, Mrs. Miller, is a whirlwind of energy and experience, always eager to share her wealth of knowledge. Her passion for the art of ballet is truly infectious and instantly makes me feel a little bit like a princess transported back to a bygone era, ready to step onto the dance floor of a ballroom full of gentlemen in their finest attire. It’s a feeling I can never resist!
This morning's class is particularly exciting! We're working on some incredible movements, combining both power and fluidity.
