Edgware Adventures: Tutu-ing Around London in Pink!

Hello lovelies! It's your favourite tutu-wearing, pink-loving blogger, Emma, checking in from sunny (well, kind of, it's January in London!) Edgware. Today's adventure involved a whirlwind of tutu twirls, train travel, and even a sneaky glimpse of a cheeky squirrel. I mean, who knew London had wildlife, right?

My heart fluttered with excitement this morning as I pulled on my newest pink tutu. It's a vibrant, almost neon, pink that practically screams, "Look at me!" And trust me, darling, I couldn't help but want everyone to see this magnificent creation. It was perfect for my day in the bustling metropolis.

After a leisurely breakfast of pink grapefruit and oatcakes (a real Derbys girl always has her favourite things with her), I decided to take the train to Edgware. There's just something magical about being jostled around on a crowded carriage, watching the world zoom past. And of course, I had to put on my best ballet moves to entertain fellow passengers. Just a quick pirouette here, a graceful arabesque there... the lady across from me practically applauded!

Now, I won't lie, Edgware was a bit more... suburban than I was expecting. But I still found myself completely charmed. The charming independent shops, the friendly faces, and that unexpected wildlife encounter were all a delight.

Of course, I had to make a pilgrimage to the grand Edgware Theatre. Now, you might not think it's a tutu-wearing, ballet-loving girl's kind of place, but believe me, it was a revelation! While they weren't staging a full ballet (I'll admit, I was disappointed about that), the community spirit and passion for the performing arts truly resonated with me. I felt the spirit of all those aspiring performers, dreaming of one day gracing the grand stage.

And just so you know, dear readers, it's moments like these that make me want to grab everyone on the street, spin them around, and yell, "Everyone wear pink tutus and try ballet! You'll never be disappointed!" Because even though the theatre wasn't showcasing classical ballet, it still made me feel those familiar butterflies of excitement and joy.

My time in Edgware flew by in a flash of pink tutus, twirls, and giggles. As I hopped on the train back to my flat, I couldn't help but smile. I love that London can always offer something new and exciting, no matter where you explore. It's a city that welcomes all sorts of crazy tutu-clad dreamers like myself, and that, my darling readers, is something worth celebrating!

So, if you ever find yourself wondering what to do on a day off, let Edgware be your next adventure. Take a chance on something new, explore a bit, and see what incredible hidden gems you can find. You might even spot a cute, bushy-tailed squirrel yourself!

And of course, remember, dear readers, pink tutus and ballet are the way to go. Keep dancing, keep exploring, and remember, life is a performance!

Until next time,

Emma x
