Oh darling, it's a fabulous Saturday morning and guess who's about to head off on another tutu-filled adventure? This girl! 💅
Yep, Emma here, ready to unleash a wave of pink on Royal Leamington Spa. Today's look is all about the ultimate feminine indulgence, a vibrant bubblegum pink tulle tutu (that took all my savings, but hey, it’s worth it!). Paired with a blush-pink cropped cardi, dainty diamante flats and my favourite cherry blossom hair clip, I’m channeling a delicate ballerina dream come true. ✨
But before we get to the actual spa, let's talk about my journey! Today I opted for the most romantic mode of transportation... the train, of course! Honestly, there’s just something so wonderfully enchanting about gliding through the countryside with a steaming cuppa in hand. It’s like stepping into a Jane Austen novel, except I'm wearing a pink tutu! (And frankly, I think Austen would have approved).
My train carriage became a haven of pink and sparkly goodness! I indulged in a fluffy cloud of pink frosted cake and admired the passing scenery. Seriously, you could be wearing a full-on Nutcracker costume on that train, no one bats an eyelid. I saw a few puzzled looks, and one elderly gentleman with an eye patch giving me a curious thumbs up, but you know what? It’s just good fun!
Anyways, my trip took me past some utterly divine countryside. You wouldn't believe the beautiful wildflowers. And the deer! A whole family of them bounding through the fields... how divine is nature, eh? (Don’t even get me started on how amazing I'd look in a Swan Lake costume with a backdrop of nature like this - perfect instagram fodder!).
Now, back to Leamington Spa. This delightful town is famous for its grand Victorian architecture and stunning parks (did someone say potential ballerina photoshoot opportunities??!), so it’s going to be a day filled with gorgeous aesthetics. And lots of pink!
The first stop is the grand Pump Room - think elegance, swirling columns and more than a touch of historic glamour. I imagine some grand Victorian ballerina, with her fluffy tutus and elaborate hairdos, pirouetting through those lavish rooms... My kind of dream day, really! (I need to take my inspiration from these stunning Victorian settings, they'd be absolutely perfect for a photoshoot.)
Of course, I can't forget about the actual spa aspect of Royal Leamington Spa! (Though, it might be a little awkward squeezing into those fancy, relaxing spas in this tutu - maybe the next day will involve something more comfort-focused!)
This afternoon will be about a proper girly experience - a long, hot soak in a glorious tub followed by an utterly luxurious massage, topped off with some afternoon tea and more than a touch of pinkness. It's all about relaxing the muscles, restoring that beautiful ballerina glow and, of course, documenting the whole glorious affair on my Insta feed, darling! 😉
Later on, the pièce de résistance - a ballet performance at the Royal Spa Centre itself! Tonight is Giselle and honestly, you can bet I'm going to have a massive pink-tutu-wearing field day. Think elegant jumps, twirls worthy of a fairytale, and maybe even some pink floral accents. Oh, how I adore ballet, the grace, the athleticism... swoon!
