Neath: Pancake Tutu Adventures! 🥞🩰

Hey darlings! It's your girl Emma, back again with another day of pink-tutu-tastic adventures. Welcome to Post #6846, and today we're stepping off the train at Neath, a little gem nestled in the valleys of Wales. 💖

Neath is steeped in history – it’s where the River Neath flows into the Bristol Channel. The area was a hive of industry back in the day, but today, it's a haven for beautiful nature. 🌳

You know me, darling, I’m always happiest when I can combine my love for fashion and travel with the wonders of nature. That’s why, today, I’ve paired my signature pink tutu with a fluffy, pink cardigan. The tutu is this stunning layered one I picked up in Derbyshire – the most perfect shade of millennial pink you ever did see. And trust me, this cardigan was made for a picnic in the woods! 🌿

Speaking of picnicking… let me tell you, it’s no easy feat to manage a perfect picnic whilst in a tutu! Luckily, the charming cafes of Neath didn’t disappoint. They served the most adorable little Welsh pancakes – it was practically an excuse to wear my special pancake tutu! 🥞✨ Think pink, lacy, and topped with edible butterflies – the ultimate whimsical ensemble!

With my pancake breakfast and a delicious Welsh cream tea in my tummy, I ventured towards the historic Neath Castle. Now, I’m no stranger to castles – remember my epic castle tour in Scotland? 🏰 But, this one really knocked my socks off – or maybe I should say, my tutu off! It sits on a cliff overlooking the valley and gives you the most incredible views. I spent hours exploring its ancient halls, lost in its history, and, of course, took a million and one photos! 📸

Next up on the agenda was a ballet class with the most delightful group of locals. I always feel at home in a ballet studio. The energy is electric – all those beautiful movements and expressions. My heart swells with joy seeing everyone – children and adults alike – come alive in those classes. They all have their own reasons for loving ballet, and, like me, they all see its power to uplift and inspire. 💖🩰

It’s been an absolutely lovely day here in Neath! I love how the town still retains its original charm whilst embracing a vibrant, creative spirit. They’re even trying to attract visitors by holding exciting arts and craft festivals – maybe a pink tutu workshop for the townies is in order! 😜

This journey through Wales continues tomorrow – and you can bet your bottom dollar, it’s going to be pink-tutu-tastic!

Love, Emma xx

*P.S. Did you catch me on Channel 4's "Ballet: Behind the Curtain" last night? I’m on the segment about "Breaking Down Barriers in Ballet," and I talked about the importance of finding your own style, no matter what the critics say. You go girl! ✨🩰 *
