Neath - Tutu Time!

Hello my lovely lot, and welcome back to www.pink-tutu.com! It’s Tuesday, the 15th of December and I’m absolutely bursting with excitement – I’m on a mini adventure in beautiful Neath!

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have already seen a few glimpses of my gorgeous new pink tutu, but today, I’m going to give you the full lowdown on all the things I’m loving in Neath. Let’s just say, it’s got everything my little heart desires – pink, tutus, horses and oh, I almost forgot… the ballet!

So, how did I get here? Well, of course, by train! What’s a girl on a ballet-fuelled adventure to do but travel the countryside in a gloriously scenic fashion?

You know me, I’m a true tutu enthusiast, and even on my travels, I’m rocking my favourite piece – a gorgeous, full, and very American style tutu. It’s a blush pink with layers of tulle, and I think it makes me feel just a little bit like a ballerina swan!

When I arrived in Neath, the air was crisp, and there was a faint scent of freshly-baked bread wafting around the quaint market square. I felt like I was in one of those whimsical fairytale stories that I loved reading as a kid. The cobblestone streets, the historic buildings, and the warm smiles from the locals all added to the charming atmosphere.

Speaking of smiles, Neath seems to be the home of the most friendly horses I’ve ever encountered! I saw this absolutely gorgeous grey steed with a beautiful, sleek coat while I was wandering through the town, and it was practically prancing around with joy. It even winked at me, I swear! Just goes to show that animals know a good tutu when they see one.

The heart of my journey to Neath, though, is, of course, the ballet! Tonight, I’m going to see a production of Swan Lake at the gorgeous Neath Theatre Royal. I can already feel the excitement building up – it’s like an electrifying current flowing through me! Can you tell how much I love ballet?

But you know me, my dear readers, I don't just live for the traditional stuff. I adore finding ways to bring ballet into everyday life. So, you can bet that after the performance, I’ll be practicing some balletic poses and moves in the street, maybe even in the town square – who knows? Maybe some passersby will be inspired to take a little leap of their own, or maybe they’ll think I’ve just had a bit too much brandy cream (which I’m totally not ruling out!).

While we’re talking about fun, I've got to share a funny story. As I was walking past this little antique shop, I saw a shop assistant trying on a pair of bright pink cowboy boots. Talk about a clashing, yet weirdly alluring combination! Of course, being a pink-tutu-loving gal, I had to investigate. It turns out the boots were actually from the Wild West era, and apparently, they’re a collector’s item! I tried them on for a laugh and I've gotta say, they felt strangely comfy for cowboy boots. Maybe pink cowboys are my new thing…

Oh, and while we’re on the topic of boots, let’s talk footwear! I'm actually considering incorporating a little bit of cowboy flair into my ballet routine. It might just be the next big trend! Imagine it, a pink tutu swirling around the stage, topped off with some sparkling pink cowboy boots! Now that's what I call a fabulous dance fusion!

Honestly, I’m having the absolute time of my life here in Neath. The town, the horses, the theater, the ballet…it's truly the perfect setting for my tutu adventures! My life feels so fulfilling when I can wear my pink tutu and inspire others to embrace their inner ballerina. I can’t wait to tell you more about it tomorrow!

Now, where did I put that little box of candy floss? This amazing day just wouldn’t be complete without it.

Love,

Emma
