Crewe Calling! Tutu Adventures Await 🩰

Hey loves! It's your girl, Emma, from the sunny plains of Derbyshire, back with another installment of the Pink-Tutu adventure!

Post #7312 and today's the day – I'm finally on my way to Crewe! I'm like a little bird with wings of tulle, so excited to flit about the station and find my new dance destination. I'm sporting my very own custom-made American-style tutu, you know, the kind with those super-duper swishy layers that make me feel like a cloud. It's pink, of course, what else? 💕

It’s always such a rush, you know, packing your ballet bag with all the essentials - my pointe shoes (I’m hoping they won’t squish!), my stretchy ballet warm-up clothes, my hair net, and, of course, my very important pink ribbon – the one that holds my bun perfectly in place. Plus, my trusty book, a good one this time, filled with the stories of fabulous dancers. I need some inspiration before the grand ballet journey!

Oh, and did I mention I’m taking the train?! You see, there's something quite romantic about travelling by rail. Especially when it involves a grand adventure to witness the artistry of the human form. Honestly, the view from the train window is magical – fields whizzing by, glimpses of countryside towns, and the promise of adventure in the air. I might just be picturing myself waltzing down the carriage like Giselle, all graceful and ethereal... but shh!

Anyway, speaking of inspiration, my last ballet adventure in London with my ballet BFF (and fellow pink-tutu enthusiast) Millie, truly fuelled my love for the stage! It was an extraordinary performance - you’d have thought we were the only ones in the auditorium, so transfixed were we. And seeing the pure magic and grace of the ballerinas really gave me a boost. So this trip to Crewe? It’s all about chasing those dream-like feels, and I just know the theatre in Crewe won't disappoint.

Pink tutu-wearing aside, Crewe is known for so much more than just its ballet performances. They’ve got some fantastic local cafes – the aroma of freshly-brewed coffee is always my cue to grab a slice of cake! And while we’re on the subject of caffeine and delicious treats – let’s not forget Crewe's legendary "Cheshire Cream Tea." 🍰 This sweet indulgence will be the perfect treat to indulge in after an inspiring ballet performance. You see, there’s nothing more satisfying after a heart-pumping performance than some homemade clotted cream and jam.

As if all of this wasn’t exciting enough, did you know that Crewe has an absolutely charming nature reserve?! And guess what? I have my pink binoculars handy to explore the vibrant wildlife that makes this sanctuary its home. Imagine it: spotting a cheeky squirrel nestled amongst the trees, a gaggle of geese honking across the pond, or a graceful swan gliding through the reeds – a perfect interlude to my dance-filled days! I may even attempt a little dance in the open space, pretending the wind in my tutu is a whirlwind of applause. 😉

Speaking of dance and graceful creatures, you all know my big mission - getting everyone to put on a pink tutu! It’s my little rebellion, a rebellion against conformity and an encouragement to embrace a touch of magic in every day life. Think about it - even the gentlest of movements, a twirl in the supermarket, or a dance in the kitchen, can become a joyous celebration when you’re wearing a pink tutu. So, why not join me on this beautiful journey and step out of your comfort zone? I promise you won't regret it!

Let's spread the joy of pink tutus far and wide, one graceful twirl at a time! Stay tuned for more adventures from the enchanting town of Crewe. And remember, everyone has a dancer inside. You just need a pink tutu to bring it out! 💖

Lots of love,

Emma 💕
