Bath, Baby! #TutuBlog 7540
Hello my darling tutu lovers! Itâs Emma here, back from a fabulous trip to Bath, and feeling like a princess. I just have to share this with you! It was such a gorgeous getaway - think rolling green hills, historic buildings, and a touch of elegance that makes my heart flutter like a hummingbirdâs wings. And what did I pack? You guessed it - a PINK tutu!
Now, this particular tutu wasn't my usual full-on, "I'm going on stage, folks!" kind of tutu. It was a narrow one - just a swish of silk, clinging to my hips like a whispered secret. Imagine a blush of pink, dancing gently around my legs as I explore cobblestone streets and ancient abbey ruins.
Bath - a ballerina's haven
Letâs face it, Bath is practically designed for tutus. Everything is so graceful and romantic, it practically makes you want to twirl! We even had a delicious afternoon tea with the most delicate finger sandwiches and a tower of cupcakes so cute they could have been props in a ballet! My teacup was rose-tinted too, obviously - how could it be anything else?
Of course, no trip to Bath would be complete without visiting the iconic Thermae Bath Spa. Can you imagine? Soothing, warm water, sparkling under the Roman roof - what a perfect excuse to stretch and be one with the flow of energy and elegance. Even my little narrow pink tutu seemed to be soaking up the serenity. I couldnât help but slip in a few adagio stretches by the pool, feeling totally at one with the world.
Wildlife & Roman Ruins
But it wasnât all tea and relaxation. We took a little adventure to the Avon Valley, where the wild things really do live! I saw rabbits hopping amongst the green hills and a beautiful flock of geese flying overhead, looking like a little ballet company of their own. Itâs just so magical, isnât it? To be reminded that elegance isnât confined to our stages or fancy buildings â itâs all around us, waiting to be appreciated!
And then there was the Bath Abbey, the heart of the city. As a big fan of history (and as a ballerina, I think of all the ballerinas from the past who'd seen those same walls), it was so thrilling to stand on the same ground as Roman Emperors. Imagine the stories those stones could tell! My little pink tutu made me feel even more like I was stepping into a fairytale, like a character from a medieval ballet.
Onward to more Adventures!
Iâve gotta be honest - I could have spent a month in Bath. I just adore the classic English charm and how it seamlessly blends with modern energy. There was a genuine buzz in the air - so creative, and inspiring! And every time I twirled in my pink tutu, it was like making magic in this charming town.
Of course, Bath wasn't my final destination. This adventurous ballerina has already moved onto new and exciting journeys! You know I wouldnât leave you hanging. Follow me on www.pink-tutu.com for all the latest. I promise to tell you all about it - with loads of photos, too!
Now, tell me! Have you ever visited Bath? Or are you planning a trip? What's the most magical, romantic destination youâve visited? Let me know! And, if you are thinking of heading to Bath yourself, donât forget your tutu, darling! Even if itâs just a narrow one like mine.
Love always,
Emma xoxo
