Wrexham Calling! #TutuBlog Post #7593 πŸ©°πŸ’–

Hello my gorgeous darlings! It's Emma here, your favourite tutu-loving, pink-obsessed ballerina, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be bringing you a new post straight from the beautiful city of Wrexham in Wales!

Now, if you follow me on Instagram, you'll know I've been making my way across the country by train, embracing all that glorious British countryside scenery. There's just something so wonderfully calming and romantic about being lulled along on the tracks, gazing out the window at sheep grazing in rolling green fields, or watching a family of deer bounding through a misty forest.

And my current journey to Wrexham has been no different! I boarded the train from my Derbyshire home, a comfy carriage to myself with my faithful travel companion - my little pink teddy, Fluffy. 🧸 I think you all know my secret - fluffy things make train journeys even more magical. πŸ₯°

I must confess, the train journey was made even more exciting because I'd brought a little surprise in my bag: a brand new tutu! This one is a bit of a departure for me. I wouldn't say it's your typical ballet tutu... this is a little more, dare I say, American in style. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Think glitzy sequins, sparkly fabric, and a touch of fluffy pink tulle! It’s made to make heads turn - and, well, that's what I like. 😎

Speaking of turning heads, I think it's important to say I had a little adventure before even getting to Wrexham. Now, anyone who knows me knows I absolutely adore wildlife, especially horses. 🐎 Well, on my journey, there was a horse, a gorgeous chestnut with a flowing mane, standing so majestically by the tracks that the train even had to slow down for him! It was an absolutely perfect moment. πŸ’–

As you know, my blog's mission is to bring the joy of ballet to the world. So naturally, when I arrived in Wrexham, I had to seek out a dance studio! πŸ’ƒ

It was tucked away in a quaint street, a haven of sunshine and happy energy, and when I stepped inside, it was like stepping into a wonderland of pink and purple, my two favourite colours. They had a sign that said "Let your spirit soar!" and trust me, I felt it as soon as I put on my tutu and started to pirouette. 🀩

This little dance studio has been teaching ballet since the Victorian era! Imagine all the stories those wooden floors could tell. They even have a lovely old lady, Mrs. Davies, who taught the original owner! It feels so special to be in a space with so much history and so much passion.

The lesson itself was so fun. The instructor, a beautiful, youthful girl named Gwen, was kind and encouraging. We worked on our graceful movements and perfect balance. I actually had to pull out my lucky pink ribbon and tie it to my hair - you know, for that extra little boost of confidence! πŸ˜‰

As a special treat after the class, Gwen surprised me with an opportunity to see the local theatre performance that night. And guess what it was? You won't believe this - The Nutcracker! 🀩 The timing couldn't have been more perfect, and the performance itself was beautiful. Seeing the passion in the young dancers' eyes, and the awe in the children's faces, brought tears to my eyes! πŸ₯°

My day in Wrexham wouldn't be complete without mentioning the delicious food, of course. I found a charming little café near the railway station where I tucked into a delicious afternoon tea, with finger sandwiches, scones and a huge pot of the finest Earl Grey tea. It's these little joys in life that make travelling truly wonderful. 😌

Now, if you haven't already, please grab your favourite pink tutu, grab your best friend, and come join me for a magical day exploring Wrexham. You won't be disappointed, I promise. πŸ’–

Until next time, stay glamorous and always keep your tutu spirit strong! 🩰

Love, Emma πŸ’•
