Coalville Calling: A Tutu-ful Day Out! 🩰

Hey Tutu Lovers! 👋

It’s Emma here, back with another post from your favourite pink-tutu-wearing, ballet-obsessed blogger. Today, I'm sharing all about a delightful trip to Coalville in my delux tutu! This marks post number 7664 for the www.pink-tutu.com blog – isn't that amazing? Every day, we're sharing the love of tutus, ballet, and all things pretty, and I'm so glad you're along for the journey.

Now, Coalville... not the most obvious destination for a ballet-loving Derbyshire lass like myself, you might think. But bear with me. This little town has some hidden gems that truly impressed me. Firstly, a magnificent old theatre with beautiful Victorian architecture – definitely a must-see for anyone who loves a touch of history and a little bit of grandeur.

But the true star of the show (pun intended, obviously) was a wonderful little dance studio. You know how much I adore discovering new dance schools, especially those with a focus on classical ballet, which is where my heart lies. And this one was truly magical. As I stepped into the studio, the energy buzzed with anticipation. I could just imagine the dedication and passion flowing through the space. They were just finishing their morning ballet class when I arrived. A sea of graceful ballerinas, all in different shades of pink (some tutus even sporting sparkly accents!), stretching and practicing with elegance and finesse. It truly inspired me.

You guys know that I always get a little bit excited when I see ballet dancers, whether in class, rehearsals or on stage. There’s something so incredibly beautiful about their passion and commitment. But this time, I was feeling particularly moved. As I watched those ladies effortlessly glide across the floor, their movement was captivating – a symphony of grace and elegance. I thought to myself: "That’s how I want to feel when I’m dancing.” You guys know how much I love my regular ballet class, but this gave me even more fuel to practice.

After soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of the studio, it was time to indulge in a little afternoon treat – a spot of high tea at the most adorable tearoom in the centre of Coalville. Think vintage furniture, delicate china, and a truly delectable selection of dainty finger sandwiches and sweet treats. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful day. I can't recommend this spot enough, it's truly a hidden gem.

Coalville adventures continued – A train trip & wildlife

Before I headed back home, I decided to make the most of my day in Coalville and go for a walk. Now, I don't know about you, but I love train journeys. It's something I've always found romantic, especially travelling in the countryside, And that's exactly what I did – hop on a train for a scenic tour along the nearby countryside. The rolling hills, picturesque fields, and charming villages just seemed to add a certain enchantment to the experience.

But as always, I was also keeping an eye out for our feathered friends. This time, I spotted a magnificent hawk hovering above the fields, its wings beating rhythmically as it searched for prey. The sight of this magnificent creature filled me with awe – nature never ceases to amaze me. It felt like I had stumbled upon a scene straight out of a children's book. And let’s be honest, I always love a little wildlife encounter during my travels!

In a tutu, always on the move!

There’s something about the feeling of freedom, the wind in my hair as I sit in the open carriage, taking in the changing scenery. The beauty of the English countryside truly inspired me, reminding me how much I love my little slice of the world in Derbyshire. It was the perfect end to a magical day filled with ballet, tea, and countryside wonders.

So there you have it, tutu lovers! My Coalville adventure is a prime example of the many exciting things you can discover outside your comfort zone. Remember: a new adventure, a new town, a new ballet studio... there’s always something magical waiting to be found, all you need is a bit of wanderlust and the perfect pink tutu! Don’t forget, keep those tutu dreams alive and keep those graceful feet moving, until next time, stay fabulous, my loves! 💕
