Hello lovelies! 💓 Emma here, ready to share another sprinkle of pink tutu magic with you all! I'm so excited because today's adventure takes me to Melton Mowbray, a delightful little town in Leicestershire.
Now, I know what you're thinking - Melton Mowbray? What could possibly be pink-tutu-worthy about THAT place? Well, my darlings, allow me to enlighten you!
A Day Trip by Train
First things first - I simply had to make this journey by train. The chugging rhythm of the wheels against the tracks is like music to my ears, and there's just something so romantic about watching the English countryside whizz past. I even had the good fortune of spotting a whole herd of deer grazing by the side of the tracks – pure magic!
A Pastel Palace
Melton Mowbray has a charm all of its own, but for me, it’s all about the history. It's a real gem of a place, bursting with Victorian charm and quaint, cobblestone streets. There are lovely cafes with dainty pastries (that I'll definitely be indulging in!) and stunning, historic buildings with colourful façades – it’s like stepping straight into a pastel-hued dream!
A Touch of Pink...or Two!
And what did this girly-girl choose to wear for this delightful day trip? Well, what else but a fabulously frilly tutu in the palest shade of blush pink, paired with a shimmering silk top and cute little ballet pumps, naturally! It felt like the perfect outfit for a town brimming with charm.
Dancing Dreams and a Bit of Culture
The highlight of the trip? I simply had to see the town’s famous Corn Exchange, a truly grand building with a fascinating past. Apparently, they're holding a ballet performance in the next couple of months - a real treat for a tutu enthusiast like myself! You can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be booking tickets and sharing all the details with you all.
