Crosby Calling! 💖 Tutu Time on the Coast 💖 #7872

Hey everyone! It’s Emma here, and as the old saying goes, a change is as good as a rest! Well, not exactly… I'm a little bit obsessed with ballet and, for me, a change can sometimes mean simply swapping one tutu for another! 😜 Anyway, I thought I'd share a little peek into my day today in the delightful town of Crosby, on the coast of Merseyside. It's a fabulous destination for a bit of a ballet adventure, I'm sure you'll agree!

I must confess that I took the train down, not wanting to dirty my little car! It's always an adventure getting on the train wearing my signature feather tutu (and let's be honest, those feathers get EVERYWHERE!), but that's just part of the fun, eh? The train journey always feels like a big, glittery stage – so many stories to watch unfold! I've always been partial to a train journey; something about the rhythm of the tracks makes my little heart dance! 🎶 Plus, I found this stunning turquoise and pink hat at a little vintage shop in Buxton last week - I simply had to wear it for this trip!

Speaking of dance, you know I'm a bit obsessed with all things tutu, and today I got to twirl around in a seriously gorgeous ballet shop! There are just so many pretty shades of pink – I seriously struggled to choose between the peachy-pink, pastel pink and hot pink – but finally settled for a sparkly, dusky rose feather tutu (more on that later)!

After a quick sandwich in a seaside café with a view of the pier (scones are an absolute must! 😉), I made my way to a lovely ballet class tucked away on a quiet side street. The instructor, a lovely lady named Amelia, was so enthusiastic - we really did dance until our toes hurt, all to the music of some of my favourite composers, like Debussy and Tchaikovsky. Now, there's something special about that magical mix of dance, music, and a coastal breeze, don’t you think? 🩰 🌬

Later on, it was off to Crosby’s stunning waterfront for some serious tutu-posing. You've just got to see the iconic Antony Gormley sculptures on the beach - the Antony Gormley 'Another Place' installations really give you an exciting feeling that the whole beach is a giant dance floor. And with the sun setting over the ocean, everything felt totally magical - like the whole place was meant to be danced on! 🌟 I took so many photos, my phone practically exploded. I'll share some later, though - there’s just something magical about a feather tutu and a seaside sunset, you know?

But honestly, it was a trip filled with so much joy! There's just something so uplifting about dressing in pink, twirling around, and letting your imagination fly - especially when it's on the seaside! It makes me think everyone should put on a pink tutu, hop on a train (or horse – if you're fancy!), and head off to their own adventure, especially to Crosby!

I've got so many more ideas swirling around in my mind – more adventures in pink, of course! Who knows what magical tutu-filled adventures await in the week ahead? Keep an eye on www.pink-tutu.com to find out!

Until next time, twirl with love!

P.S. Have you seen the fabulous pink and blue feather tutu from the famous Sadler’s Wells ballet season that's got the entire internet buzzing? 😜 Well, I think the feather tutu I picked out is pretty darn awesome, too! 🤫 And I’ve got a sneak peek coming soon of some extra special feather tutus that I’m dying to show you all. I can’t say more than that! But I'm already planning my next dance adventure - I’ve got my eye on the Brighton Pavilion. I hear they’ve got an amazing horse-drawn carriage that’s totally tutu-friendly… 🤔 Maybe it’s time to learn how to ride a horse… 🐎 Any equestrian experts out there who can help? 😉
