Cleethorpes in Pink!

Post Number: 8172

Hello darlings! It's Emma here, ready to take you on another exciting adventure in the name of pink, tutus, and, of course, ballet! 🩰💖 Today's journey takes us to the beautiful seaside town of Cleethorpes, right here in lovely Lincolnshire.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "Emma, Cleethorpes? Isn't that a bit... basic?"

But darling, hold your horses! (Yes, I ride horses... you'll have to read my other posts for those exciting stories!) This trip was far from basic. I came here to be inspired by the ocean, the energy, and yes, the beautiful pier. It's a hidden gem, let me tell you. And, I mean, how can you not be inspired by the sound of the seagulls? Cue inner peace emoji 🐦🕊️🌊

As usual, I decided to bring a splash of colour to this seaside paradise, sporting a fabulously bright red tutu, a personal touch to add to my day. I love the way tutus make a statement - they're so feminine, fun, and just a little bit cheeky, don't you think? And what better backdrop for my favourite red tutu than the majestic expanse of the North Sea? It truly was a sight to behold! ✨

Ballet in Unexpected Places

My adventures in Cleethorpes went beyond just soaking up the sea air. I actually stumbled upon a hidden ballet gem! Imagine my joy when I saw a poster advertising a "Ballet on the Beach" class. Could you even dream it up? Turns out, it was a free drop-in session, run by a local dance academy. Who could resist?

It was truly one of those special moments. Standing barefoot on the soft sand, the waves crashing against the shore just a few feet away, the sun warm on my face… the only thing missing was a glass of rosé! And the best part? The class itself was pure bliss! I loved learning from the instructors, the enthusiasm from the local dancers was contagious, and we even had a mini performance for the beachgoers at the end. It truly solidified that ballet can be enjoyed everywhere, even by the seaside. It was so liberating!

Food for the Soul, and the Stomach!

Of course, no adventure is complete without delicious treats, and Cleethorpes definitely delivered in this area. After our seaside ballet class, we all made a beeline for a local chippy – I mean, a girl’s got to eat! It was so refreshing to enjoy freshly fried fish and chips with a side of laughter and good conversation with my fellow ballet lovers. (Let’s face it, good company is always a bonus!)

The Call of the Sea

We spent the rest of the day enjoying the fresh air and the gorgeous scenery. I just can't resist a good walk along the pier - something about the wind in my hair, the feeling of the cool ocean air on my skin… it just does something to me.

Speaking of the wind, I'm going to end this blog with a very important message. If you haven't already, come join my mission to get everyone to wear a pink tutu, and make ballet a part of their lives. It's a joyous journey, filled with grace, beauty, and the power of self-expression!

You don’t have to be a ballerina to enjoy the magic of this beautiful art form. It's open to all - so come on, step out of your comfort zone and try it out! Even if it's just for a few minutes, give yourself permission to embrace the power of movement and embrace your inner dancer! You might surprise yourself, just like I was surprised by Cleethorpes.

Don't forget to follow along on my journey at www.pink-tutu.com. Let's keep spreading the pink tutu love!

Lots of love and tutu-licious wishes,

Emma 💖🩰💃
