Good morning lovelies! It's me, Emma, and as you all know I am obsessed with all things pink, tutus and ballet! 💖🩰 You guys have got to check out my gorgeous pink tutu I'm sporting today. It's got all these pretty pink sequined fairy wings, and guess what? It matches my brand new pink, sparkly pointe shoes! 🤯 I just can't get enough of these fairy wings – they make me feel like a princess! 👑
And guess where I am today? In Ecclesfield! Yes, I travelled up here yesterday by train – there’s nothing like the romance of a journey by train, watching the countryside whizzing past! I’m feeling excited because tonight I am going to see a ballet performance at the Ecclesfield Town Hall, featuring a stunning production of “Swan Lake”. 😍 It’s one of my all-time favourite ballets, and I simply adore the costumes. Especially those graceful white tutus in the second act. Swoon! 🦢 You can’t have too many white tutus, I always say! 🩰💖
This little trip has actually been quite an adventure. When I arrived in Ecclesfield yesterday afternoon, I went for a lovely stroll through the beautiful countryside. There were cows grazing in the fields and fluffy sheep, which of course I couldn’t resist photographing. You have no idea how much I love wildlife – especially furry little creatures like bunnies. 🐰💖
Later, I treated myself to some delicious afternoon tea at the quaintest little café tucked away down a cobbled side street. You know how much I love a good afternoon tea! It’s the perfect way to fuel up before a night out at the theatre. I'm dreaming of dainty cucumber sandwiches, delicate scones with clotted cream and jam, and an endless pot of strong black tea. 🤤 And did I mention the mini cakes? I am convinced every afternoon tea should be served with a selection of pink-coloured cakes! They’re practically my favourite things, just like tutus. 🌸
My hotel here in Ecclesfield is simply adorable! They’ve gone to such lengths to make it feel girly and magical. They’ve got pretty floral wallpaper, lace curtains, a pink armchair, and a chaise lounge! I couldn’t resist having a cheeky photoshoot in my tutu in front of their floral window displays – you just know I've already posted it all on my Instagram, with a cheeky "What are you up to this weekend?" caption! 😊
My outfit for tonight's ballet performance will involve a new white tutu with a delicate bow tied in the centre – the perfect choice to compliment the ballet’s enchanting atmosphere. 💫 I’m even going to take along my favourite pink sparkly purse, with all my makeup essentials, a tissue, a sparkly mirror, my phone, and, of course, my emergency ballet shoe fix-it kit, just in case! 💖
The day will probably end with me dreaming about ballet and wishing I had wings to take me through the air like a graceful, fluffy pink fairy! 💖 I hope you're all enjoying your weekend and getting your fill of dance moves and tutus! You know what I say?
