Ashington Adventures: Tutu Time in Tyne and Wear! ππ©°
Hey beautifuls!
It's your favourite pink-loving, tutu-twirling blogger, Emma, here! π Today marks a rather momentous occasion - blog post number 8750! π Who knew I'd be so obsessed with sharing my adventures with you all? Honestly, you're the best part of this journey, my loves.
Now, buckle up buttercups because today's story is all about a whirlwind trip to Ashington! π You guys, this little town in Northumberland had my heart doing a triple pirouette!
Let me tell you, the train ride up was absolutely divine! My favourite pink dress? Check. Matching handbag? Check. And of course, my trusty pink tutu? Check and mate! πββοΈ Itβs all about rocking that ballerina vibe on the go, you know?
And the scenery... my goodness, the rolling hills and the fields dotted with sheep? Absolute perfection. I swear, I think I saw a hare hopping along the tracks! Talk about a magical moment. π Seriously though, if you're looking for a romantic adventure with some stunning views, hop on a train! It's the perfect way to travel!
But enough about my train journey! We've arrived in Ashington, and you know what this calls for? More tutu action, of course! Pink, of course!
First up, a little detour to Ashington's very own park, the iconic Woodhorn! π This place was bursting with character - an old mine and a super-cute visitor centre where I learned all about the town's coal-mining history. It was fascinating! But my highlight? A stroll through the gardens, basking in the sunshine and feeling so inspired. π I actually found the perfect spot for some impromptu photos. You guys, my Instagram feed is going to be fire this week! πΈ
Ashington has such a charming and relaxed atmosphere - there were so many adorable little shops with beautiful trinkets and local produce! I snagged some delicious, locally sourced honeycomb for a treat later. I simply adore finding unique treasures on my travels! π
Now, you know I love a bit of ballet action whenever possible, right? So naturally, my trip wouldnβt be complete without a trip to the local dance studio! Turns out, Ashington has a thriving ballet scene, and the teachers at The Ashington Ballet Centre were absolute legends! They were so welcoming and had such a fantastic energy. π©°
The best bit? The dance floor was as pink as my tutu! It was meant to be. π
After a wonderful afternoon of pirouette practice, I found the cutest little cafe for some afternoon tea. They had these amazing pink cupcakes - a total indulgence! π§ And let's be honest, a day of dancing always calls for a little bit of sugar, doesn't it?
And as the sun dipped low in the sky, I took one last walk through the streets of Ashington, savoring the peace and quiet. It really felt like a town steeped in history and character. You could feel the sense of community, which I find utterly charming. β€οΈ
So, what have we learned from todayβs adventure, my loves?
- Pink tutus can be rocked everywhere! From the bustling streets to the serene countryside, a pink tutu always turns heads. π
- Train journeys are a must! Soothing music, stunning scenery and the freedom to relax are unbeatable! π
- Never underestimate the joy of local finds. Whether it's a cute cafΓ©, a historical landmark or some delectable honeycomb, taking a wander off the beaten path can lead to magical discoveries. β¨
Ashington, youβve completely stolen my heart! This vibrant little town, with its rich heritage, bustling energy, and welcoming community, reminded me that happiness is found in every corner, if you know where to look! And I promise you, it doesnβt require anything more than a little pink tutu, a positive outlook, and an open mind. β€οΈ
Until next time, keep spreading those tutus and keep those dreams dancing, lovelies! ππ©°
Stay beautiful,
Emma xo
