Hello, darlings! Emma here, writing to you from the glorious seaside town of Herne Bay. It's been a whirlwind of pink and pirouettes, and I just have to share every magical detail with you!
A Train Ride to Remember
I adore travelling by train. There's just something so romantic and timeless about chugging along, gazing at the changing landscapes and daydreaming about all the adventures that await. My journey to Herne Bay was particularly picturesque - sunshine dappling through the windows, the scent of freshly cut grass carried on the breeze, and a charming gentleman offering me a cup of tea!
Coastal Charms
Upon arriving, I was immediately smitten with the quaint seaside town of Herne Bay. The air was crisp and invigorating, filled with the sounds of the seagulls and the laughter of families enjoying the sunshine. I took a leisurely stroll along the promenade, admiring the vibrant, colourful beach huts and watching children giggling as they chased after ice-cream cones.

Let's be real, a day at the beach wouldn't be complete without a tutu! Now, you might think it's a bit unusual, but darling, let me tell you: a tutu by the sea is simply divine! I chose a beautiful pastel pink creation, the perfect shade to blend seamlessly with the setting sun and the blush of the sandy shores. I did a few twirls in the soft sand, feeling the wind tousling my hair and the salty air kiss my skin. Pure bliss!
Wildlife Wonders
Speaking of nature, Herne Bay also boasts a wonderful nature reserve. I spent a delightful afternoon wandering amongst the saltmarshes and dunes, observing the local wildlife. It's incredible how nature provides a serene and calming space amidst the bustle of life. I spotted a playful otter darting through the reeds, and a gaggle of ducks with their adorable little ducklings paddling in the shallows.
Ballet Dreams in Herne Bay
No trip would be complete without a ballet-inspired moment. This charming town actually has a delightful local dance studio! So naturally, I had to slip on my ballet shoes and immerse myself in the world of graceful movements and elegant turns. The studio was a sanctuary of pink and mirror, and the instructor, a charming fellow with a love for classic ballets, welcomed me with open arms. I had an absolute ball!
Tutu Chic: My Herne Bay Look
To celebrate my seaside sojourn, I naturally sported a head-to-toe pink outfit. My outfit was a chic combination of a ruffled pink blouse with delicate floral details, paired with my trusty pastel pink tutu, of course! The skirt twirled and danced with the sea breeze, creating a whimsical look that was perfect for the seaside charm of Herne Bay.
A Culinary Treat
And no trip to Herne Bay is complete without indulging in some delicious local seafood! I had the most scrumptious seafood platter at a cozy little restaurant overlooking the harbour. The freshest crab, juicy mussels, and delicate prawns, all perfectly prepared and seasoned to perfection!

My stay in Herne Bay was a pure delight! A little escape where pink reigned supreme and every moment was an opportunity for twirling and laughter.
