Rainham Calling: A Tutu-tastic Train Journey and Pink Flamingo Fun! ๐Ÿ’–

Post Number 9234 - www.pink-tutu.com

Hey darlings! Emma here, reporting live from the absolutely divine town of Rainham! Can you believe I'm actually writing this on a train? Yep, my trusty companion, the rail network, is helping me chase my ballet dreams, and let me tell you, it's just as glamorous as travelling in a vintage carriage.

So, my darling friends, this is what brought me here - I am SO excited to see "Swan Lake" performed by the exquisite Royal Ballet School at the Rainham Theatre tonight! My dear friend Penelope, who has a secret, totally adorable tutu collection, is joining me - so there's going to be an absolute plethora of pink tulle in the audience! And who knows, maybe we'll even make it onto the stage... a girl can dream, right?

My morning began with an invigorating ballet class in Derby (I do love that my hometown has so many amazing studios!). And oh, darling, you would not believe the tutu I chose! It's a real statement piece, with beautiful, hand-sewn embroidery in the most luscious pink hue. The pink in it really complements my newly painted nails - did I tell you they're hot pink glitter? ๐Ÿ’…โœจ A little touch of sparkle is always needed, isn't it?

Before my class, I popped by my favourite cafe in town - a darling little place called "The Pink Flamingo". They've got the best pastries in the whole county, I tell you, and of course, they have flamingo-themed everything - you wouldn't believe the amount of pink! And even the owner's hair is dyed the most fabulous shade of flamingo pink. Honestly, the colour pink is my favourite - it makes my heart skip a beat!

Then, to my local park, where I always take a quick breather before starting my ballet day. And you wouldn't believe what I saw! A flock of actual flamingos! Well, I know that's not exactly possible in Derbyshire, so it must have been the magic of pink working its magic! ๐Ÿฆฉ I snapped a pic for the gram, naturally - I just HAD to capture this incredibly lucky encounter.

Anyway, the journey down to Rainham was a blast, as usual. I spent most of the time sketching ideas for new ballet-inspired outfits - pink, of course, and with a hint of fairytale magic. I might just whip them up myself if I can find a bit of time! ๐Ÿชก

And did you know there's a lovely old horse-drawn carriage service here in Rainham? Now that's how a proper lady travels! The horses were adorned with the most stunning floral harnesses, the carriages are beautifully painted and plush - talk about pure class! A perfect fit for the pink tutu lifestyle, wouldn't you say?

Before my big "Swan Lake" adventure, I'm off for a bit of exploration in this delightful town. There's this amazing looking pink-hued confectionery store I'm itching to visit, and I hear there's a park with a massive, majestic weeping willow, which sounds simply enchanting! Oh, I'm positively bubbling with excitement!

Well, my dears, I must dash - the train's slowing down as we approach Rainham station. Keep your eyes peeled for my posts tonight for some fantastic pics of the Royal Ballet School in action! ๐Ÿฉฐ

I hope my adventures today have inspired you to wear a little pink and embrace the magic of ballet, whatever form it takes! And remember, every day can be a Tutu-tastic day, darling. So go forth and be bold, be fabulous, and spread some pink love around the world! ๐Ÿ’–

Much love,

Emma xo
