#TutuBlog 2021-10-17 in Huyton with a wide tutu.

Hello lovelies! 🩰 It's Emma here, back with another instalment of your favourite pink-tutu-fuelled adventures!

Today's story is a little bit different. I'm venturing outside of my beloved Derbyshire and making a pilgrimage to the wonderfully quirky town of Huyton, nestled somewhere in the heart of Merseyside.

The reason for this journey, you ask? Well, a certain gorgeous, twirly, wide, very pink tutu has been calling to me for weeks. And trust me, you guys know that when a tutu beckons, Emma answers! 💖

I knew right away that I wanted to travel in style for this exciting adventure. The train journey is always a highlight, so I decided to ditch the boring car and opted for a gloriously comfortable, scenic carriage ride, right out of a Jane Austen novel. The gentle chug-chug of the engine as it moved along, coupled with the panoramic view of the green, rolling countryside - a perfect combination!

But I wasn't travelling solo, oh no! My dear friend Millie joined me, and, you guessed it, she wore a beautiful pink tutu too. Millie is a tutu fanatic, just like me, so we were practically radiating joy and pink-hued delight. It was a tutu-fest from the moment we met at the station. We were both decked out in our fluffiest pink tutus, with our hair gently curled and a touch of sparkle. Honestly, the train conductor looked completely bewildered at first, but after seeing the sheer joy emanating from our vibrant pink ensembles, his face broke into the widest smile I've seen in ages!

I mean, who doesn't love a little tutu-fuelled joy in their lives? I genuinely believe that wearing a tutu, especially a pink one, can instantly change the energy of any situation! It’s a secret weapon of happiness, like a magic spell cast with tulle and ribbon. ✨

Once we arrived in Huyton, we couldn't resist capturing some gorgeous pictures by the station's floral display, which was just begging to be adorned with twirling tutus. Millie and I looked like a pair of happy ballerinas blooming amongst the bright blooms. And let's be honest, the town's vintage vibe just felt made for twirling in our gorgeous, pink tutus. It was the perfect setting for a picture-perfect day of TutuBlog magic.

But the real reason for this journey was the shop - 'Tutus & Tiaras'. It’s a magical place where you can find anything a tutu enthusiast could ever dream of. We were practically waltzing in as soon as the door swung open!

As soon as we stepped inside, my senses were immediately overloaded. Imagine every imaginable shade of pink, ribbons galore, rows upon rows of tulle in every pattern imaginable, shimmering sequins, and, of course, the most exquisite collection of tutus - fluffy, flowy, and absolutely irresistible! It was a ballerina's dream come true! 😍

I have to tell you, I couldn’t help but try on every tutu in sight! Millie kept taking photos as I spun and twirled, her laughter echoing through the store. It was honestly like we were in a giant ballet box filled with sugary sweetness and all things pink!

Eventually, we were lured out of our happy tutu frenzy and pulled ourselves to the counter to meet the shop owner. Oh, what a lovely woman, with the brightest eyes and the kindest smile! She instantly embraced us, making us feel welcome and completely at home.

The whole time I was there, I couldn't help but think of my other travels. It reminded me of the time I travelled all the way to Scotland in search of the most beautiful lavender fields - where, naturally, I twirled in a violet-hued tutu. And who could forget the trip to the Cornish coastline, where I wore a sparkly teal tutu, inspired by the shimmering ocean? 🌊

Each of my trips always leads me to extraordinary new finds and makes me think of my mission: to inspire everyone to dance, twirl, and explore their own tutu magic!

But I think what really excites me is that the shop owner, Helen, told us about a new ballet festival taking place in the next town! Imagine: Ballet, under the stars, with live music! This is my absolute dream! 🌙 ✨

And, of course, Millie and I will be attending! We’re both already planning the perfect tutus to wear! (Think bold, beautiful pink and a touch of silver sparkle!).
