Hello darlings! It's your girl Emma, signing in from the lovely little town of High Wycombe!
How was your day, sweeties? I bet you were just bursting to see where my travels took me today! As always, the beautiful pink tutu had its own ideas... 🎀
My trusty horse (more like a cute little hatchback, really!) brought me straight here, to this charming bit of Buckinghamshire. High Wycombe - all those little cobbled streets and gorgeous architecture! They have the most divine little cafes serving fluffy, pink-hued afternoon teas that you could imagine... perfect for fuelling a day of ballet bliss.
Speaking of which, my reason for being here is pretty exciting: The Royal Ballet. Can you even believe it?
This little lady is all about ballet - my soul yearns for it! Whether it’s a performance at The Royal Opera House, or an intense class with my favourite teacher, Miss Lily, I just love getting lost in the beauty of ballet. It's more than just steps and pirouettes; it's about storytelling through the body, the raw emotion in each graceful gesture. Ballet is art that speaks without words, and it gets me going like nothing else! And guess what? I'm totally loving "Ballet Street"! Remember, girls, you can wear that tutu anywhere - on stage, at the gym, at the bar! 🥂
So, you know I had to check out their touring company performance here in High Wycombe. We're talking some serious dance talent! They had me enthralled from start to finish, with every arabesque and every grand jeté, they practically had me levitating! Seriously, if you've never seen a professional ballet performance - what are you waiting for?!
Before I got whisked off to High Wycombe this morning, I woke up feeling particularly grateful for our wild and wonderful world. I'm lucky enough to be in Derbyshire, surrounded by those stunning Peak District views - so peaceful and serene.
After enjoying a bit of wildlife watching ( a mischievous fox trying to snag a tasty treat in our garden! - so cute!) , I whipped up a yummy breakfast - pancakes with lashings of fresh berries. It was the perfect start to a magical day!

Now, on the topic of those divine tutus. Mine is custom-made by a local artisan in Derbyshire - oh, her work is utterly gorgeous, so chic. And, guess what? This one's a little special: I designed it myself! A bit of vintage pink tulle, sprinkled with glittering pink sequins - just a little bit of Emma-licious magic!
You bet you, I will be gracing this gorgeous little town with my dazzling presence today, but first? It's off to the local horse riding school - my girl needs her weekly dose of equestrian adventures, after all! Just imagine, a stunning countryside backdrop and a pink tutu-clad lady on a magnificent horse! It doesn’t get any more picture-perfect than that, right? 💖
