Weston-super-Mare: Tutu-ing My Way Through the Seaside! π©° π¦
Hey my lovelies! It's Emma, back again with another exciting adventure for you, this time from the stunning seaside town of Weston-super-Mare! I know, you're thinking, what on earth is Emma doing on the English Riviera? Well, I'll tell you, I'm on a mission! This post is number 9370 for me, believe it or not, and I just feel so lucky to share all these amazing experiences with you. π
So, I decided to take the train to Weston-super-Mare. I know, a real change of pace from my usual gallop through the countryside on horseback (I'm really trying to get into a good, strong trot!), but the train was super scenic, and I just had to take in the coastal views from my comfy carriage. It's all about enjoying the journey, isn't it?
Of course, when I arrived, I was absolutely dying to go for a stroll along the promenade! And what's the most glamorous thing to wear whilst admiring the ocean waves crashing against the shore? Why, my newest custom-made tutu, of course! I mean, this is pink-tutu after all! I picked this one with the most adorable ice cream cone motifs, it was absolutely perfect for this coastal adventure. It felt so wonderfully breezy and summery, even if the British seaside in February does have a bit of a chill in the air. I'll tell you, I turned heads, and honestly, what else does a tutu enthusiast need? π β¨
But what's a day trip without a spot of ballet? Luckily, Weston-super-Mare boasts a charming little theatre, and this week they were hosting an absolutely delightful production of 'Cinderella'. I confess, I got a little carried away and twirled my way into the audience wearing my ice cream cone tutu, but hey, isn't life better with a touch of whimsy? π The performance was truly enchanting, with amazing sets and costumes, and the dancers' artistry left me mesmerized. I can't wait to share a quick review on www.pink-tutu.com and I have a feeling that I'll be whipping up a 'Cinderella' inspired tutu look very soon! π
Of course, no trip to the seaside is complete without a bit of indulging in delicious seaside delights. Let's be honest, who can resist the temptation of a classic fish and chips or a fluffy ice cream cone? I chose both, obviously, and then for good measure I tried some delicious fish and chips and some mouth-watering rock candy. Don't worry, I've started a new ballet class focused on getting those graceful moves working double-time after indulging, and I can already feel the difference in my pirouettes! π€ΈββοΈ
After a day filled with ballet, beaches, and good eats, it was time to make my way back to Derbyshire, my charming little county that always welcomes me home with open arms. The train journey was just as scenic as the outbound journey, with the setting sun painting the sky in a magnificent kaleidoscope of colours. It was a truly inspiring sight, reminding me how much beauty exists in the simple things. π
So, what have I learnt on this incredible trip? Well, apart from the fact that a tutu is the perfect garment for seaside strolling, I've discovered that adventures, no matter how small, are truly enriching. Every new experience, every breathtaking vista, and every delectable treat helps to shape our perspectives and makes us appreciate life all the more. Remember, my darlings, life is a grand ballet, and it's up to each of us to embrace it with passion and grace, no matter what tutu we choose to wear! π
Until next time, stay pink, stay fabulous, and don't forget to keep twirling!
Love, Emma π www.pink-tutu.com
