Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu princess Emma here, bringing you a whirlwind of sunshine and twirls straight from the beautiful city of Bangor!
As you all know, my passion for ballet knows no bounds, and I simply had to visit this haven of culture and grace. Let me tell you, travelling to Wales was a total fairytale! Imagine: me, in my most fabulous pink tutu (this one's a special German import with little sparkly butterflies – absolutely divine!), riding in a comfy train carriage with the countryside whizzing by. Just the thought of it makes my heart sing!
Bangor welcomed me with open arms, or rather, with the warmest Welsh sunshine and the most charming little cobbled streets I’ve ever seen! I felt like I was stepping into a scene from my favourite ballet movie - it’s practically begging you to wear a tutu! 😉
First on the agenda was a little peek into the world of local talent. I managed to snag tickets for the Bangor University ballet performance and, my dears, it was spectacular! The passion in the dancers' eyes, the incredible leaps, and the breathtakingly beautiful costumes… it all felt so enchanting, and even the audience was practically bursting with excitement! The energy in the room was electric, I couldn't help but want to join them on stage!
Of course, I couldn't be in Bangor without experiencing the legendary Menai Suspension Bridge. This beautiful feat of engineering, with the waves crashing below and the crisp, clean air swirling around, almost made me feel like a mermaid ready to leap into the ocean! This bridge isn't just about history, though; it's a symbol of hope, beauty, and daring! And a photo-op, darling! (Keep an eye out for my amazing pic of me in my tutu with the bridge behind!)
While I'm here in this lovely part of Wales, it would be rude to not explore its wildlife! I've booked a wildlife safari trip to Anglesey tomorrow. I hear the seals and puffins are fabulous. Imagine getting to meet some truly magnificent creatures in the wild, in such stunning surroundings? It's like something straight out of a fairy tale!
After my big day of exploring and twirling, I felt so much inspiration bubbling up inside me! It reminded me why I started Pink Tutu – to inspire everyone to embrace their inner ballerina! Life's too short to wear dull clothes, especially when a magnificent tutu can turn any day into an unforgettable performance!
