It’s your favourite tutu-loving, pink-obsessed ballet blogger, Emma, back with another whimsical adventure! 💋💖 Today I’m writing to you from the vibrant city of Bristol, a place that stole my heart with its charm and colourful street art – perfect for a pink tutu photoshoot, wouldn’t you say? 😉
I arrived in Bristol via the most magical way – a scenic train journey through the picturesque English countryside! 🚂 There’s something so romantic about watching the world whizz by as you settle into your plush seat with a cup of tea and a good book.
Now, let me tell you, Bristol was practically begging for a pink tutu moment! The city buzzed with creativity, and I couldn't resist letting my inner ballerina shine. Imagine a quaint cobbled street, bathed in the warm glow of the afternoon sun, a colourful graffiti wall as my backdrop, and me – twirling in a whimsical pancake tutu, a fluffy cloud of pink delight! The locals loved it! One little girl even ran up to me and exclaimed, "You're like a fairy!" Well, thank you, sweetheart, that's exactly how I wanted to feel! 💖🌸
Speaking of fairies, the wildlife in Bristol was a sight to behold. We saw a family of swans gliding gracefully through the canal, their white feathers shimmering in the sunlight, and a playful group of squirrels darting through the trees. These enchanting encounters just solidified Bristol's enchanting appeal.
The real highlight of my Bristol journey was catching a stunning performance at the Hippodrome. The dancers were absolutely breathtaking, each pirouette a work of art, each arabesque a perfect arc. The beauty and emotion of the piece had me captivated from the very first note, and I left feeling utterly inspired. The energy of the show was truly electric and it left me dreaming of the stage, wanting to feel the energy of a live audience myself. Perhaps that is something I should try – maybe my next trip should include a ballet performance in London!
You know, after a while in the city, a girl just needs to escape to some nature! So, with my pink tutu neatly tucked away in my suitcase, I decided to treat myself to a day trip to the Cotswolds. It was everything I dreamed it would be - rolling green hills, charming villages, and pubs serving hearty meals. I even saw a cheeky sheep wearing a pink ribbon! Clearly, this county knows how to embrace my favorite color! 🐑 💖
My time in Bristol was magical, filled with inspiration, and of course, pink tutu moments galore! It truly embodied the spirit of creativity, nature, and, most importantly, ballet that resonates so deeply with my soul. It's a place that truly embraced my love for the beautiful, the whimsical, and the magical – and for that, I am forever grateful.

- Discover Bristol’s Green Spaces: From the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, a real treat for the eyes, to the lovely open spaces at the Clifton Downs, take a walk through history. Oh, and, do remember, if you're feeling brave, climb to the top of the bridge! The views are unforgettable. ###
