Hello my darlings! It's your favourite pink-loving, tutu-wearing, ballet-obsessed blogger, Emma, back with you from the glorious seaside town of Littlehampton!
I must tell you, my loves, it was a whimsical journey getting here. You see, after an early morning ballet class in Derbyshire, I decided to make the most of the sunny day and embrace a truly Emma-esque travel experience. Forget the boring old car or the crowded train! I chose the magical world of... horseback riding. Imagine, galloping through the fields, wind in my hair, the world a blur of green and sunshine! Pure joy! Of course, I wore my lucky pink riding jacket (with a matching pink tutu tucked beneath, just in case!)
Arriving in Littlehampton, a coastal town with a beautiful pier and charming Victorian streets, was like stepping into a seaside postcard. The fresh air and the gentle lapping of waves on the beach just seemed to invite a graceful ballet move or two. And let's be honest, darlings, who could resist twirling by the seaside in a lush green tutu? Not this ballerina!
This green tutu, by the way, was a find in a vintage shop just outside of Derbyshire - a real treasure! I can't wait to share it with you in detail later.
I'm actually wearing it now as I sit by the harbour, watching the seagulls swoop and dive - nature's graceful dancers! (Yes, my love for ballet extends to wildlife too, if you can believe it! 😉) It’s a lovely sight that inspires me to be more present in the moment.
Later tonight, Littlehampton is putting on a show. Not just any show, but a wonderful open-air ballet performance! How delightful is that, my dears? It seems the world is turning pink and everyone is embracing their inner ballerina! I just love it.
Don't worry, I'll be sure to post some snaps and stories of the performance later this evening. And, naturally, my outfit will be... a pink tutu, obviously! I'll be wearing my favourite one, with a splash of shimmer and some beautiful handmade flower detailing. Because let’s be real, darlings, a ballerina’s never truly out of costume, right?
