Helloooo, my gorgeous darlings! It's your girl Emma, and guess what?! I've taken my fabulous, feather-boa-trimmed pink tutu on a seaside adventure to the lovely Cleethorpes, a seaside town in Lincolnshire. And let me tell you, it's been a real treat! 🌊✨
Now, you all know I adore my trains. There's just something so romantic and wonderfully old-fashioned about them. So, of course, I took a little train trip from Derbyshire, which always makes me feel like I'm in a storybook. I love spotting the countryside whizzing by, all the colours, and the fields with fluffy sheep. It just fills my heart with joy! 🐑
Speaking of joy, Cleethorpes has been brimming with it! You guys wouldn't believe how many lovely people are here enjoying the sea breeze and the amusements. ☀️🎡 I can't resist a good seaside promenade walk, especially in a twirly pink tutu. You see, the sea air does something magical to my twirls! 🌪️
Speaking of twirling, I even bumped into a little ballet studio here. Oh my, it was absolutely delightful! There was a class going on, and I couldn't resist popping in for a quick visit. Those young dancers were so incredibly talented and passionate! I felt right at home with them, it’s so good to see ballet blooming everywhere. They definitely inspired me to try a few pirouettes right there in the studio! 😅 I’m thinking, next time, I’ll try joining in a class! Imagine, tutu and me, getting in a ballet sweat at the seaside, now that’s a blog post! 💪
My adventure in Cleethorpes wasn't just about ballet though! I saw the most amazing seals! I mean, these creatures were just hanging out, lounging on the rocks, soaking up the sun. Talk about adorable! 🦭 The seagulls, on the other hand, were a bit more boisterous, but equally as fascinating. I couldn’t resist the temptation to grab a bag of chips and feed the feathered flock. It was chaos, but also such fun! 🐦 🍟
Honestly, I just love exploring new places. Seeing how different parts of the world are, taking in the unique sights and sounds – it’s just magical. Plus, it always provides the most inspiring outfit choices! This week, my pink tutu felt right at home amongst the pastel coloured beach huts. I felt like I'd stepped into a fairytale! 👒
Of course, I made sure to snag a good helping of fish and chips, no trip to the seaside is complete without it, am I right?! 🐟 🍟 And then there was ice cream! Oh, how I love ice cream, I had the most fabulous strawberry and bubblegum-flavoured creation! So good! 🍨
So, darlings, if you're ever feeling like a change of scenery, I wholeheartedly recommend a little trip to Cleethorpes! The sea air will do you good, and it's just the perfect place to get in a few good twirls, just like me. 💕
