Stratford Upon Avon: Tutu-ing About the Bard and Butterflies! 🦋🩰

Hey darlings, it's your favourite pink-loving tutu aficionado, Emma, and welcome to post number 10196 on www.pink-tutu.com. Today, I'm waltzing into the charming, historic town of Stratford Upon Avon. Now, I know you all know I'm a big Shakespeare fan (who can resist those timeless words and those incredible characters?), but today I'm going to share my own Shakespearean adventure, complete with a bit of tutus, a touch of travel, and a sprinkle of butterflies!

So, imagine this: Derbyshire girl (that's me!) in her pink tutu, rocking a morning train ride to Stratford. The window seat, the sunshine warming my face, the gentle rhythm of the wheels against the tracks - I wouldn't swap it for anything! And as the green countryside whizzed past, I couldn't help but feel inspired. My latest creation? A bright green tutu, folks, yes you heard right! It's going to be the ultimate symbol of hope and springtime, and believe me, it will look utterly magnificent under the dappled light of the Warwickshire countryside.

Speaking of which, let's get down to the beauty of Stratford itself! Arriving in the town was like stepping back in time. The Tudor architecture, the cobbled streets, the charming little tea rooms – I could easily imagine William Shakespeare himself strolling through these lanes! And then there’s the River Avon! Picture it: a little boat, just me, a green tutu, and the wind whispering through the willows, carrying me downriver. Maybe next time!

However, Shakespeare wasn't the only attraction for me today. No, the real highlight had to be the butterfly garden in Stratford! You guys, it was an explosion of colour! It felt like stepping into a technicolour dream! So many beautiful butterflies fluttering around – I even managed to get a couple of cheeky photos with them (don't worry, I took extra care not to bother the little guys!) and the little ones are already getting used to my tutus! This must be the start of a beautiful butterfly-and-tutu friendship, and who knows, maybe we can encourage some of them to join us at a ballet class! 😉

The butterfly garden brought a whole new perspective to my relationship with nature, just like how ballet always does. Graceful butterflies, delicate petals, and the constant symphony of nature – I truly feel a connection to all living things. And that connection? That's the kind of feeling I want to spread. It's the kind of joy I want to share with everyone. So here’s my message to you: put on your tutus, embrace your inner grace, connect with nature, and maybe even bring some extra cheer to the world! You never know how your little acts of kindness and beauty might affect the lives around you. I hope I’m not being dramatic here, but this whole trip truly reminded me of the magic of dance and the wonder of nature, all interwoven together. It's a combination that simply fills my heart with joy and inspires me to be the best version of myself!

The day in Stratford was truly a fairytale come to life. But remember, dear readers, even after a day in the most amazing place, life goes on, and we must all keep our heads held high and move on with grace and strength. And yes, you know this is coming, that’s what ballet is all about! 🩰

Here are a few takeaway thoughts from my little escapade to Stratford-Upon-Avon:

  • Green is the new pink! This is a great look and it works beautifully on the stage too! Remember folks, even if we have a favorite color, we should never be afraid to explore and embrace new possibilities!
  • Nature inspires us. Remember to pause and admire the beauty that surrounds us. Even a butterfly garden can make you realize there’s a new world waiting to be discovered!
  • Always dance your way through life! This isn't just about the actual steps but about approaching life with joy, elegance, and grace. It's about living fully and wholeheartedly.

I know I keep telling you, but, tutus are amazing! You never know, one day you might be spotting a pink or green tutu in Shakespeare's theatre at the Stratford Upon Avon Shakespearean Festival! That's why we're on this journey, to make tutu's and dance a part of everyday life, and you're part of it! I promise to share all my little journeys with you, as I journey further along my tutu path!

Until next time, keep shining bright, love Emma x
