Hello my darlings! It’s your girl, Emma, back from another incredible adventure. This time, I traded the Derbyshire Dales for the seaside charm of Littlehampton! Oh, the joys of hopping on a train and watching the world whizz by… it’s pure magic!
Remember that little pink tutu I bought at that darling boutique in Bath last week? Well, it was just screaming to be taken to the beach, and what better place than the glorious sands of Littlehampton! 🌊 Picture this: the salty air, the soft sand squishing between my toes, the sun on my face…and me, in a twirly pink tutu, feeling absolutely fabulous. I can’t help but feel that when you're twirling on a beach in a tutu, you’re radiating good vibes into the universe!
You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about why I love tutus so much. It’s not just about the twirling or the pretty fabrics. It’s about feeling confident, strong, and free. It’s about celebrating your femininity and owning your unique sparkle. Tutues are a reminder that it's okay to be whimsical and joyful, and I think everyone deserves that kind of reminder!
And speaking of whimsy, did I mention I met the sweetest family of rabbits on the beach? They were nibbling on the grass near the seawall, looking so fluffy and adorable! 🐰 I felt like I'd wandered into a storybook! Now, you all know I love all things wildlife. Maybe I’ll find a cute little pink tutu for one of them – you never know!
Speaking of stories, have I told you about the incredible ballet performance I saw at the Festival Theatre in Chichester the other day? Oh, my goodness, it was utterly breathtaking! The costumes, the music, the emotion - it all came together to tell such a beautiful and poignant story. I found myself crying and laughing along with the dancers. Honestly, if there's anything that will truly lift your spirits, it’s a beautiful ballet performance.
Now, you know me, I simply cannot go anywhere without taking a few dance classes, so Littlehampton was no exception! The ballet studio I found here was an absolute dream. Such friendly teachers and wonderful fellow dancers. We were working on some fantastic choreography and I learned so much, my ballet technique is definitely improving, and I felt completely energised by the end of the class!
Of course, after class, there's always a celebratory treat! Littlehampton didn't disappoint - I found the cutest little tearoom nestled in a side street with the most delicious homemade scones and clotted cream! They were the perfect reward for all my hard work in the studio. 😋
As the sun started to set, casting long shadows across the beach, I knew it was time to head back. It’s been a whirlwind of an adventure - I can't believe I'm already packing up! But one thing is certain: Littlehampton has definitely captured a piece of my heart.
But I’m not one to wallow in the ‘what ifs’. You know, I've always believed in taking action. So, my fellow dance lovers, my pink tutu crew, what are you waiting for? Get yourself to Littlehampton - whether it’s by train or even by horse - take in the beach, the seaside town, the wonderful energy. Find that inner ballerina and let loose!
Now, go out there, twirl like a mad woman, wear that pink tutu, and embrace the joy that life has to offer! Remember, no matter where life takes you, your dance shoes, your pink tutu, and a positive spirit will always carry you through! 🩰💖
See you next time, my sweet friends, and don’t forget to keep up with the rest of my adventures on www.pink-tutu.com.
Much love,
Emma 💖
