Good morning, my dearest tutu-lovers! Emma here, writing to you from the lovely town of Bromsgrove. Did you know that it’s famous for its ancient church, the Church of St John the Baptist? I just had to snap a picture of my pretty pink tutu with the historical backdrop - just divine! ✨
Today marks my second day in Bromsgrove. Yesterday, I arrived on the most charming little train ride from Derbyshire, and let me tell you, the scenery was like something out of a fairytale! Rolling green hills dotted with sheep, little villages nestled between them – it was truly idyllic. And what's a trip to the countryside without spotting a horse or two? ? A magnificent black stallion even trotted alongside the tracks for a while – truly a highlight of the journey!
This whole trip is all about spreading the love of ballet, and as always, I’m starting my day with a spot of ballet class. I’m incredibly fortunate to have found a wonderful ballet school here in Bromsgrove, full of passionate dancers, all eager to learn. It was fantastic to get into the studio again, feel that familiar feeling of my muscles waking up, and immerse myself in the elegance of ballet. It really does make the world seem a little more magical, you know?
After class, I took a stroll through Bromsgrove’s bustling town centre. The shops are a treasure trove of charming boutiques and independent businesses. There's a lovely cafe right next to the Victorian architecture that offers the best strawberry and cream tea. I just had to have it, it was divine.
Speaking of delicious treats, tonight, I’m going to see the world-famous Ballet Russe performing at the local theatre. The highlight? It's a beautiful production of Swan Lake! Now, you know I'm a sucker for anything Swan Lake, so I'm incredibly excited! Can you imagine me with my own swan tutu? Maybe someday I'll design one! ?✨
Later this evening, I’ll be visiting a delightful wildlife reserve. I hear they have a large flock of pink flamingos – I’m sure my tutu will perfectly compliment their colour scheme. My love for pink extends to all creatures, you know. Who could resist their grace? And those amazing legs?
Tomorrow, I’m venturing to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare! My heart is already soaring at the thought of exploring his beloved hometown and perhaps catching a show at the famous Royal Shakespeare Company theatre. Perhaps I’ll be channeling my inner Juliet – imagine the romance of a balcony scene in a pink tutu! ?
Overall, I must say, this trip is shaping up to be a delightful ballet escapade! And remember, dear friends, every day can be a ballet experience! Wear a pink tutu to your next gathering, embrace your inner ballerina, and don't forget to always be fabulous, my loves! ❤️
I'll be sharing more adventures with you from Stratford-upon-Avon soon! Stay tuned to www.pink-tutu.com for daily updates.
With love,
Emma xoxo
