Solihull: A Tutu-tiful Whirlwind of Pink! (Post #11115)

Hello my darlings! Emma here, your ever-so-pink tutu-loving blogger, ready to whisk you away to a whirlwind of tutus and ballet brilliance!

Today, I'm writing to you from the charming town of Solihull, just a hop, skip and a train ride away from my Derbyshire roots. As you all know, I love to travel by train, the rhythmic clinking of the tracks is so soothing, and it gives me a chance to people-watch, admire the countryside scenery and, of course, dream up my next tutu-tastic outfit. ?

Speaking of tutus, I'm so excited to tell you about my newest find – a gorgeous German-made tutu! It's a softest shade of pink, just like a blush on a delicate rose, with layers and layers of tulle that simply twirl with grace. I have to say, German craftsmanship is really something special; this tutu feels so light and airy, yet it has a structure that makes you feel like a princess. ?

My adventure in Solihull began with a visit to the Solihull Arts Centre. They were holding a stunning performance of 'Giselle,' a timeless ballet masterpiece. The choreography was so emotive, the dancers were captivating, and their movements seemed to float effortlessly across the stage. It reminded me why I fell in love with ballet all those years ago. Every twirl, every leap, tells a story - it's magic, pure and simple.

Of course, no ballet adventure is complete without a visit to a ballet class! So I hopped over to the Solihull School of Dance and, after a quick costume change, found myself amongst a group of lovely dancers, all eager to pirouette and plié. We had so much fun stretching our muscles and refining our technique - it was so refreshing to be back in a studio with a bunch of kindred spirits. ?

Speaking of spirits, I was lucky enough to stumble upon the Birmingham Botanical Gardens while exploring Solihull. Imagine: beautiful flower gardens, serene ponds, and, yes, you guessed it, even some adorable wildlife! A family of fluffy ducks had their babies out for a swim and I spent a delightful few moments watching them waddle and quack around their little pond - such joy! This entire day was filled with beauty, grace, and pure bliss!

As you know, my dream is to inspire everyone to embrace the wonder of tutus and the power of ballet. Whether you're an experienced dancer or someone who's never taken a single class, my philosophy is this: Why not twirl into something magical? Life is short, so embrace your inner ballerina and get those feet moving!

That’s my update from Solihull! This tutu-tastic journey certainly won't be forgotten, and I'll be back with more adventures from around the UK.

Until next time, twirl on and shine! ✨

**Love,

Emma
