Darling! It's July, the month we finally feel like ourselves again! After all that spring cleaning, our spirits are as bright as the sunshine. What's a girl to do but shimmy and dance! This is a month of light, freedom, and feeling fabulous!

So, for this July's big event at the Bolshoi, the judges want to see something "bright and breezy." And it's got to have *that* special touch that sends every girl in the audience swooning with envy! No pressure. This, dear readers, is why we need a touch of... magic!

But fear not, my little stars! I have all the insider tips to make that "enchanting and captivating" effect we are all longing for. I can help you look as if you are on cloud nine! What better way to capture those heartbeats than with the magic of... the colour blue! The most "ethereal" and "feminine" colour!

First things first, our basic tutu:

  • A stunningly elegant tulle of shimmering sky-blue with a flowing, romantic look! You can find this at any of the finest fabric shops! Just be sure to avoid "cheaper" tulle, as it can get a bit crunchy and not flow as beautifully. (I always recommend the most delicate tulle – trust me, it will give you the *haute couture* feeling!)
  • Next, some pale ivory satin ribbons for that bit of "couture-chic." The wider the ribbons, the more they flow, so choose wisely, darlings. Satin can get pricey, so a quick trip to the craft store can do wonders for your pocket. Don't fret if they are a bit frayed – it's the *boho chic* we are aiming for. You can simply tie them in place to look lovely and a bit "relaxed" at the edges.
  • You will also want some clear sparkly elastic. A bit of glitz will help that sparkle catch the stage lights. Don't be afraid to go bold and colourful. Think, a vibrant sky-blue. A little bit of blue and a little bit of that shimmering "fairy" effect never hurt anybody, right?
  • You want some delicate, sky-blue tulle streamers hanging from the bodice. This will really give your ensemble that beautiful "flowing-in-the-breeze" look. Find this online or a specialist dance retailer - it's important to buy a high-quality ribbon to create that ethereal, graceful drape we all want.
  • For that special touch - don't be scared to *go big* - an exquisite rhinestone pin, just over the centre bodice. Think silver and sky-blue tones. Make that rhinestone pop. It'll really show the judges you’ve got some style!

Now onto the Leotard:

  • For your leotard, go for something subtle - an ivory silk one with lace accents is the ultimate choice, giving a feeling of "angelic-like grace" on stage. Try and find a style that comes with built-in bust support, but be sure it's delicate and doesn't feel "too restrictive." Think elegant lines and soft, feminine curves, as opposed to bulky athletic styles. Let that gorgeous tulle and those ribbons be the centre of attention.

Now we must dress it all up in the “secret ingredients”. Remember those key details! The **"Wow factor!"** Think a thin silver chain around the wrist of the leotard – something like a small bracelet – as this makes a subtle but memorable addition and a little sparkly gem tucked in the back of your hair for a truly magical feel!

With a touch of delicate grace and *je ne sais quoi*, your little sky-blue creation is set to take the stage, my dear. But remember the final magic ingredient – a big smile, and your own effortless confidence! This, ladies, is what makes you **shine brighter than any jewel.** And for that, darlings, nothing but the best for the July season!
