Now, where do I even begin? 1899! A year practically buzzing with tutu-tastic brilliance. And where better to experience it than Paris, the beating heart of fashion and culture. This was a time of glorious gowns and sweeping silhouettes, with ladies all about showing off their elegance and grace. You bet those tutus were part of the scene!
Imagine a theatre filled with shimmering chandeliers, and on stage, a world of exquisite ballet dancers twirling and leaping in tutus of the most beautiful shades of silk. The Paris Opéra was at the height of its power, and its ballerinas were the stars of the show, each performance a delightful feast for the eyes.

Speaking of exquisite ballet, 1899 saw the debut of "La Belle au Bois Dormant", also known as Sleeping Beauty, a breathtaking masterpiece by Tchaikovsky. Oh, how I adored the ballet's costumes – the gentle pinks and the sumptuous blues of the fairy costumes, the majestic purples of the royalty, all exquisitely captured in that era’s signature detail.
