That evening, as the ballerinas pirouetted onto the stage in their ethereal* tutus, their movements took on an enchanting *freedom that reflected the era. I must tell you - *I nearly cried tears of joy! Such artistry, such grace. The *light from the theatre illuminated each tutu like a miniature fairy. A perfect sight to soothe the soul. To be perfectly honest, the modern tutu (or tutu moderne as it's called), didn't always receive a warm welcome. I heard whispers of shock and criticism from the ballet community back then! Can you imagine that?! Oh, the indignity!

Thankfully, the Parisians embraced this dance revolution with open arms! Well, naturally! These days, the tutu moderne is a staple on the dance floor.
